    Sean,
Now that was mega-cool! It was a pleasure to finally meet/see Nick and his shop. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to make it happen. Wifey has had me doing a few honey-dos, but they're now pretty much done and you've got me all fired up to get back out in the garage.
Btw...when are you planning to head back to Memphis?
    Regards,
    John

      Hi John!
Looking at the last week of June to head back to Memphis. I’ll make sure to post on our Facebook page (www.facebookcom/AutoAnatomyUS) our route, so hopefully we can meet up with some viewers!

Just found this channel. I lived in Northern California in the late 80s and needed a power steering gearbox for my 62 thunderbird. He provided a rebuilt box and it was just perfect. Glad to put a face to the name. Good luck Nick

Nick's Tbird was in Van Nuys and I use to go to him all the time when I bought my Tbird for $600 and I told him I got cast in a Comedy Central show called American Body Shop and I needed to get it to run well enough to put it on the show. He was so helpful and nice and I was extremely disappointed when he left. Nice to see you again NICK! 66 the best! Didn't know you had a channel, I'll be watching anything 66 Thunderbirds! Nice work Sean, been learning a lot.

I restored my 1963 T-bird hardtop to this extent. Quite some fun.

The 1964-1966 Thunderbirds were the height of style and class at the time...I owned one of each year back in the day...a `64...a `65 and a `66...the only place where they missed the mark in my opinion was the use of flat side windows...after using curved windows in the `61 thru `63 model years....seemed like a step back...even though the rest of the interiors were ,for the time, cutting edge.

Thanks Sean for taking us on that trip. Seeing that sliding steering column makes me miss my 63 thunderbird.... 😞😞😞. They just don't make beautiful interiors with such style and class as in our old Thunderbirds anymore. These old cars just to to prove that class never goes out of style.....

Thanks for watching Rick! It’s such a stylish, classy ride!

@@AutoAnatomy that it is indeed! With the Thunderbirds in that era there was just such a sense of pride put into the design and layout of the interior.

Glad I found your channel, learning a lot from your vids! . I bought my 66 in California to use as a second car. Drove it to C Springs in 1993 when I got stationed at the AF Academy. Loved CO but the T Bird didn’t, the carb was gasping for air. Still have the car.

I have a 428 66 T-BIRD BUT IT HAS not run in 20 years. I did put a battery in it and I have lights and taillights and the horn but nothing else. Only the right vent window moves a bit . If I help it open it will but not on it's own. Filled the motor with deseal fuel last fall to help protect it . Have to drain it soon.

Good luck with that car! It's a process getting one of these birds back up and running, but so worth it!

Awsome vid as always. So a general brake question. I have a 63 Bird that I'm making road worthy for my 2 teen boys. Should I convert it to disc brakes? With a dual circuit brake master? Or are these Bird big drum brakes good enough? I learned how to drive on drum brake cars but have always heard single circuit drum brakes blow. To be hones I have a single circuit all 4 drum brake 66 c10 with an ls 5.3 swap that I drive on weekends that I feel totally safe. What ya'll think? Convert the Bird?
