This is most likely the most factual, useful information that all yugioh players need to here. In the end of the day its a game, and games are meant to have fun.

zThere's the fourth group - "The Elder Ones"
The people that play ygo for thrill of trying weird, eclectic, very often barely functional under certain conditions decks that make your ordinary player scratch their head. The people that throw at you Greed Quasar/Calculator beatdown and Zushin decks while tripping you with weird tech cards that you see for the first time in your life.

When Dueling is like a chess match, then that’s the best part and most fun I have

I love a good back and forth match. Some of the most fun games are ones that take take some time and come down to one or two last minute plays

@@cfo101-YGO absolutely. Even if I lose, I had fun in that case.

This stood out, like I'm definitely the diehard, like I will get meta cards to maximize a pet deck, and I found great fun in beating meta sheep with god card support they refuse to read. ever seen a guy chain ash blossom to winged dragon of ra immortal phoenix, epic wastes.

A major part of the fun, i am having with the game, is trying new stuff and deck building. Once the deck is consistant i try it in a simulator and lastly i think of actually buying cards.
Keep it up. The game is evolving constantly so no deck really matters. Doesnt mean someone could not try.

Good thing Abrg!Dartz didn't quoted the video's title.
In any case, sometimes it is just good to try a couple of decks for any fun.

    Spectrum Skull Archfiend
    Roulette Fusion (Parasite/Hex-Sealed)

I think your wording is a little off. I don't disagree with the idea that there are different ways to enjoy Yu-Gi-Oh, but I do think everyone has a deck that they love, even the meta sheep. No they might not play it in competition but they still care for that deck. Plus the idea that Diehards are fans of the Arc type and not the deck doesn't really make sense. the game is always evolving so people will always upgrade their decks, that doesn't mean their decks don't matter it just means they've found a new way to play that deck.

Thanks for the feedback. It was definitely a tough idea to articulate and I could have worded it better for sure. Just an interesting philosophy I had that I tried to piece together but probably could have improved on

Then there's me: The deck doesn't matter, the card art does. This is why I play Blue Eyes or as I like to call them: Brick Eyes.

I get the idea, but its such a loose interpretation of "not mattering" that you could have just as easily said "Here's why your deck matters to you" [insert the same reasonings here].

SO basically you're judging everyone who has ever beaten you with a meta deck and everyone who you beat who has a Cloudian deck

      Yup. Ive only beaten cloudian😭

I have a slightly different opinion than Diehard's statement. I think the charm of the game lies in the art and design of the cards that represent us as Duelists.
You mentioned that "Your Deck does not Matter and what matters is it brings you Joy," and I understand your point. However, I feel that the video doesn't do a good job of explaining how the deck doesn't matter at all.
In my opinion, it's important to be true to yourself and not let others judge how you play the game. This is where the fun and dopamine come from.
