You are doing great, the problem is your chat - nobody is giving you the right suggestions. For example, the first fight out of the tutorial with the 3 intellect devourers would be so simple by just approaching them undetected (sneaking, press c), gain the high ground on your right, and bombard them with range attacks as they approach. Use the terrain at your advantage, and when you can, always start a fight on the advantage by taking the enemies by surprise. Don't get discouraged, you will learn and when you do so you will have so much more fun.
Man, I love this game. It won Game of the Year for a reason. Reading is your friend, believe me. Also, there are no dedicated "healers" in this game. Shadowheart is a Cleric.
I'd highly encourage you to watch some kind of short video on how DnD works as things like ability scores, classes, attack and damage rolls etc can all be explained mathematically
Actually during the livestream before i ended i have asked my twitch chat to recommend me videos about how DnD works without spoilers. So i did watch videos related to that so in my part 2 of my playthrough i might have an idea of how it works but will still ask chat few things here and there.
@@SeikatsuVODS I made it halfway through Act3 without even really noticing I was missing content. It’s absolutely incredible. Any other game would’ve felt completely wrong by this point, but I didn’t even notice!!

Yeah i know i'm still new to the game and already i can see why BG3 did win Game of the year. (also damn no healers seems tough) 😅
Clerics have healing spells but thats not her primary or only role. @SeikatsuVODS

I just started last week. I’ve missed half the playable characters on accident
I think that's what makes BG3 quite good in terms of replayabilty, you can always go back and catch the parts you missed. 😊
