That fight on the helm was hilarious, I see this happen to streamers all the time. It’s a great roadblock tutorial that says “hey it’s not just a kill everyone on screen all the time, if you don’t pay attention to what your doing and why you might have a bad time going forward, reload and go get that transponder” though that sword the devil has is a great reward if you’re somehow able to take him out in time ^^
Actually, before you go into that room you can open Spellbook with I on keyboard and give Shadowheart the Command spell. Or yourself if you play cleric and you have two shots to make him drop his weapon.
@5:48 Friends is one of the most powerful spells in the game. That and Guidance. pair up Guidance and Friends and the game is almost on easy mode, even at higher difficulty modes. Thee attack cantrips for the elves are not very good unless you are playing a wizard because the racial cantrips are all intelligence based, and only wizards have high enough intelligence to make them good. But Friends doesn't care about your intelligence. It just always works. And there is sooooooo much dialogue.
@Nythical well, no spell is necessary. Guidance is so powerful because it works on all skill checks and can be cast infinitely. Speak with Animals is powerful because you can talk with almost every animal in the game, and some of them give you useful Info and even possibly a quest or two, and it lasts until long rest, so you only need to cast it once when you wake up. And Friends gives you advantage on all persuasion checks. Friends paired with Guidance on a Face character, and it's almost impossible to fail a persuasion check, no matter the DC. Especially if you are a Bard with Expertise. One thing I like to do is have Shadowheart cast Guidance on Astarion whenever I enter a room, I know there are a lot of traps or hidden objects. He gets an additional +1d4 to his perception checks to find those things.
Friends is almost unusable on higher difficulties if you don't want to keep constantly casting disguise on yourself. I never pick it, but I also do play Bard, so it's not like it'd do anything for me if I did
If you do a subsequent playthrough, at the beginning when you free the brain from the skull, do NOT try to mutilate it. If you successfully free it and don't try to hurt it, it will join you in the upcoming fights and can become a pet and summonable companion later in the game.
Some people simply *Don’t have the required IQ to type relevant comments on TH-cam anymore. And many other things. 😢 Bg3 isn’t meant to be a “simple” game. It’s complex. Mechanics and lore wise. But sure. Pop off.
Loved your Alan Wake 2 playthrough! The most difficult part was probably the beginning where you had to endure the sight of a strange chubby man...who's naked. And balding. 🤣
@@Nythical Sorry! If someone didn't play the first game they might mistake the guy in the beginning as Alan. Imagine starting out and thinking that this naked, chubby, balding dude with back hair is the hero 😂

LMAOOO i couldn’t believe i could just go forward without killing everyone in sight 😂
You don't necessarily have to take him out to get the sword.

BTW this game got hundreds of hours of story and gameplay because it is huge and things change depending on your decisions.
Nice to see this on YT, watching VODs on Twitch has always been a subpar experience for me
Glad it works out for you!! Hope you enjoy it:)

Thanks for the tip!!
Hi friend always so great to see you
Hello!!
Already addicted to the dice gambling... 😅
But disable karmic dice if you want realistic dice rolls.

Pro tip: if you're going to insult others' intelligence, put the apostrophe in the right place.
