  • Introducing to you 'THE TACKLE DIARIES' which is a new short series that delves further into our Daiwa products. Jump onboard with Daiwa’s design and product team as they chat through the process and just what goes into making that next great product for the fishing industry.
Vol. 1 is all about Lure Design; Tom Slater and Kris Hickson head out to Forster NSW to swim test some of our new lures. Experimenting and looking at certain characteristics such as diving depths, colours and weights. A more in-depth run through on what it takes to release a new lure into the ever-so growing Australian Fishing Market.

Great vid, thanks for showing the developments with the lures.

  • @roguefishing

That was amazing to see the behind the scenes of how much you play with the split ring weight, treble weight, and the bib size to find the correct wobble and action. I could watch that all day. Will certainly play with my treble sizes a bit more on the tough days if I want a bit less wobble in my lures and don't have tackle trays that look like yours 👍👌

Thanks for taking us along with you guys, and like I always say, when only the best will do Daiwa

Great vid.. I don't mind tuning a lure to suspend. But it's nice to be consistent across multiple lures that are the same...ie, knowing a certain hook/split ring combo will be the same all day
