Thank you for the detailed vid - I didn’t even know this was a thing until I randomly saw it on Bookdepo 20mins ago. I already own the manga but I think I *need* to buy this edition. Just to see those battle scenes in large print ... *asdfghjkl*

Book 1 contains vols: 1-4, Book 2 will contain vols: 5-8, and book 3 will contain vols: 9-10 and all the bonus stories at the end of each manga.

When you say bonus stories do you mean like all of Hellsing Zero? Cause that was never collected and would make that volume an insta buy if so.

I like the berserk deluxe so much that I think I will dive into Hellsing and Blade of the immortal as well.
Man Darkhorse is killing it on Deluxe editions! Hope VIZ learns something from it.
It is really sad how according to Viz, their editions are already collectors deluxe editions, when they don't have even the 20% of the quality Dark Horse is giving to us.

I was waiting something like the Utena edition, but in the end it was another hoax. If they couldn't make a proper collectors edition for a 2 volumen series, what can we expect for other series? At this pace we will never see a Rumiko Takahashi work published in a real deluxe edition =/

Great to see smaller titles like Hellsing also get the Deluxe treatment but I am kinda disappointed that they didn´t put the covers at the back of the book, like they did with Berserk.
Since when is Hellsing Small, I would say it is as big as Berserk just because it has a very good anime which Berserk sadly does not have.

Yo you smacked that NMC logo off the screen slick as hell. Dark Horse is killing it on these deluxe manga hardcovers. Not that familiar with this book, but you saying it should only be 3 volumes tempts me a lot.
I've always wanted the original english darkhorse 10 volume series of Helsing but they're not available anymore.... but now this is available I can collect this awesome series!

Hi Omar, thank you for all the great videos. Because of them I ordered a bunch of books in the last months.
Recently I ordered my first two omnibu after years (Animal Man by Lemire and Aquaman by Johns).
The binding should be better than my first and final (until now) omnibus order, which was Green Lantern by Johns. It fall apart after the first reading, that was awful and a trauma for me.

This the real definition of collectors, gorgeous, deluxe, high quality editions! Viz needs to start using the same dictionary Darkhorse has already been using since the Berserk edition.
as nice as these books are as collectors items, I still think the reading experience is better in singles as they are just more comfortable to actually read.
@@anab0lic To me, as long as you can fully open the book without problem is ok. This dark horse editions are sewn and the book opens really well. But I understand your point, it happens the most with the glued binding omnibuses or if the sewn is not well made.

Knew this deluxe coming, but know nothing about this series. Looks nice and with only 3 volumes, probably will pick it up.
Blade of the immortal, why couldn't they just go for the deluxe. Already have the paperback omnibus, even I love its art style, guess will not double dip.

I was expecting this to drop on IST on Tuesday but it didn’t. Hopefully they get it soon. They didn’t get lady killer library edition until much later and I ended up spending $10 more than I had to just to get it. Got rewarded with damaged corners. This time I’ll just wait to get it on IST because at least I know they will package it well.
I *really* hope they include The Dawn in one of these volumes for the complete experience!

I was reluctant at first. But this is beautiful. As this was the first manga I got into. It should be fitting to get the deluxe editions.
A month or Two ago i watched Hellsing Ultimate anime it was cool Alucard is a Baddass Anti Hero.

I heard it will be but I also heard that technically it isn’t flipped. It has been chopped up and replaced so that it goes left to right so the images are the same... it is just the order that obviously isn’t.
Personally i would rather have it be right to left too though. Sucks.

I was hoping it would be on IST this week but it wasn’t. Definitely looking forward to this Deluxe edition.
It was on my IST wishlist for a while but everyday before July 15, I keep on watching for it and it seemed to get buried deeper and deeper in the Coming Soon pages as it neared the release date. Last night, I couldn't find it anymore so I just bit the bullet and ordered one from Amazon.

Great video! That artwork is amazing! I really like how clear the action sequences look. That’s one thing that turns me off from a lot of manga compared to anime. That and the lack of color haha. I have two episodes left of Helsing Ultimate. How do you like it compared to the manga?
It really is amazing. And compared if you are watching Ultimate, that is the manga almost frame per frame.
Already own all 10 volumes from a different publisher in pretty nice quality, but man this Dark Horse HCs are so cool.

Things set in England are always fucking awesome, its literally the best place for a Fantasy Novel/Manga. cannot wait till all 3 volumes are out, hopefully Gantz and Elfen Lied gets the Deluxe treatment eventually. wwould be incredible, looking forward to blade of the Immortal also

Devilman and hellsing are tonally similar completly batshit crazy with so many plot holes that it makes a net but the style is so awesome it sucks you into it.Do you have a video on your favourite manga? Can't find it

I have watched Hellsing, Hellsing Ultimate, and have read the manga. I will admit I read it online because most of the places are extremely expensive to get them all... But I will 110% be buying all three volumes of the deluxe!!!

I only started anime a few months ago, I’m 13 btw, with Naruto because of my older brother, and I remember my brother liking what he called a really inappropriate anime, even I was younger that he loved and I asked him about it and he told me, Hellsing, so I watched it, and god damn, it is my favorite anime ever, awesome drawing, animation, characters and writing
