So it's not the same as AHL in Russian hockey hierarchy. The Russian equivalent of AHL is VHL(Vyshaya Hockey league)

Well, Kucherov was amazing at U-18 world championship. Nobody ever has 21 points on this tournament except Nikita (Hughes was very close last year). So how could scouts miss that?

Kucherov turns it up in the playoffs which would take the pressure of being "the guy" off of McDavid and allow him to play better. With a little grit and a good coach they'd be unbeatable. I really hope the Oilers don't waste McDavid's career.
