I got a rayovac for 9.99 rechargeable walmart. My test it lasted 5 days of use and I charge 10 times still working. The Battery can be recharge 500 times and must use a slow charger.

i found that the more you use the charger while playing it just gets really loose, i had to resort to this and well pretty much the more i played it got to the point where it wouldn’t even stay in the controller anymore

Jays I think it’s the usb cable, i was using a cheap android charger not even an official one. so that’s why it got loose. i would say try buy a branded wire made for the xbox but it probably wouldn’t do much.

I got a pack of cheap batteries and they were good for maybe 1.5 game sessions of many hours. but they were so loose. the Duracell and Engerizer batteries fit snug and good. these cheap ones wobbled all over. so much so that if I shook the Controller even a bit, it would disconnect. I was searching youtube to fix this problem then found this video. I was going to skip but decided why not. so glad I didn't skip. :D
Mine has stopped reliably connecting via cable-to-console, which is why I'm here; still not sure why that is, but the idea of plugging it into a wall socket charger is so simple and brilliant, and is working great! Thank you 🙏

We Live by TH-cam and die by TH-cam 😅 But my experience with the Xbox one s was great, I had hand issues so I switched from PlayStation and I couldn’t afford the Xbox one x at the time. But I then realized I had everything on my PlayStation and I’ve used PlayStation for my whole gaming life. So even though the Xbox one s was great! I sold it to get a ps4 slim die to preference overall. I now have the Ps5 so time goes pretty quickly 😅 But My advice is if you can’t afford the One X or the Series X, go with a cheaper version like the Xbox series s or the One S for now and work your way up to the newer ones. The series s is basically the newer version of the one s. Hope that helped boss!

I just want to be able to plug it in like you just did and play it like that, like i use to. I don't know what the problem is. I even tried resetting my consoles settings. Nothing works.
You can use a usb-c charge cable as well to play without batteries using an xbox bluetooth controller you just plug it into a wall outlet or extension cord but what i want to know will it burn up or melt your controller my dad seems to think it will cause a fire because you have way more electricity going through the controller
