Agree. Games aren't about having fun it's about just progressing through it. What happens when you're the best of the best and you have the best loot? I think some people go back and play stuff for nostalgia and that feeling they had when they did. Go back and play it now it's just not for the same reason and you won't get the same feeling.
It seems the new generation of gamers, having grown up with Esports and more PVP oriented games, have started to sway MMOs away from focusing on the community aspect. Kind of a bummer.. it really takes a toll on the immersion of the games and makes them more frustrating!
I think it's a mix of a new generation but also just bad MMOs coming out in general. It's all copy pasta orange/grayscale garbage. Nothing innovative in the MMO market has come out at all since WoW. Gameplay isnt as smooth, etc. I do plan to make a video series about the problems I see with MMO.
@@thad4k lol its actually the back of the chair that squeaks. the chair is overly adjustable and leather rubs together in areas where it needs to be flexible.

Thats exactly the same reason why i left the game. Constantly talking about loot and if Item A gives you 0.5% more dps than item B. How fucking cares?
