PLEASE EVERYONE MAKE THIS!!! I am blown away by how good it came out! It was way too easy i swear. The only thing is i used a thin aluminium baking dish so it over baked a little and wasn't that runny in the center but still it was sooo moist and delicious i wouldn't change it at all. It was gone in seconds and everyone loved it so now i have to make it again soon or they won't let me be.
My mum makes 'lemon dainty' which is a similar style of pudding (you have to whip the egg whites seperately to get more air in) but it you get the lightest lemon sponge stuff in the world on top a gooey lemon curd sort of sauce in the bottom :) it's much lighter than a chocolate or caramel pudding too so it's really difficult not to eat loads!
