@@bavariansportguy no I haven't. I have tried to kinda ''DIY'' a vertec with metal structure, and the lil thingies (don't know what they are called) out of like thin wood stripes; but the wood is too damn heavy, and the tip of the stripes weigh down. Also it's hard to set in a way that hittind the lower layers don't rly mess the upper layer messing the reading. But now my project is at my in-laws house very very far away from where I live now. But I'll consider bringing it here and updating it!
Super helpful!! Was just talking with my friend about buying a vertec and saw how expensive they are. This was the exact video I needed. Thanks! Will try this out
It’s bone headed to build the frame out of pvc pipe. (Nice idea using rulers though). I built this and I immensely regret following this design. Next time I would just build the frame out of wood. Easy to design something that won’t tip over or bend a ridiculous amount and then one friend doesn’t have to stand there supporting the structure
Understood, but wood takes way more place to store it and its probably more expensive. How much did you pay for it? Plus, you have to use a drill or nails
I paid 150$ cdn just for the pvc pipes and metal 3/8” bar; already had abs grey pvc cement lying around. I ended up using so much scrap wood to support the pvc frame that I might as well have built it out of wood alone. The dimensions for storage are the same whether you build out of wood or pvc. I used one 8 ft 2x6, three 6 ft 1x2, like two fence slats. I think in my location the pieces of wood would have been less expensive. Especially if you have screws lying around already. Btw I used door stops instead of rulers- but I really like your idea of using rulers and will probably switch to that
Damn, the PVC pipes were quite expensive. Yeah the rulers are nice, but heavily depending on the price. If you got doorstops, then you can use them es well :)
that was actually insanely smart out of the box thinking.
Thanks 👌🏻
Have you tried it out yet?

It was a huge suprise for me how expensive they are...
And I had to do one myself!! Nice that you enjoy my video :)
You made everything so clear, what is needed, how to build it. Thank you!
I am glad you like it 😀
Thanks a lot 😀
great job bro💯👍
Thanks mate :)
Nice video.
One question: Does it hurt when you hit the rules?
No, not at all 😀
Probably unless you hit them so hard that they break or sth 😅

Can you share link for rulers?
I just added it in the description 👍🏻

"measurement roll" heißt "tape measure" auf English.
Danke 👌🏻
