Venom's "brain eating" at least wasn't a real thing back then. It was more just a way to scare bad guys and troll heroes. In reality, the symbiote's favorite food wasn't brains, it was chocolate. He would swing by street vendors and yoink handfuls of chocolate bars sometimes just for a snack.
I know he wasn’t in the game but I wonder if the Punisher would be cool with that. Because arguably he's done worse stuff than Venom crushing skulls and eating brains.
@@DoctorBadvibes Honestly, one of the things about Frank Castle is how much willpower and determination the guy has so I dunno if the symbiote would be able to completely take him over like it did with Brock. Or at least, as much as Brock got taken over, at least.

Like, we have Venom (although I think nowadays in the comics Brock no longer has the symbiote but then again continuity is a weird thing) always refers to themself as 'we', so Eddie and the Symbiote. When Cletus Cassidy gets his symbiote though, he uses singular pronouns. And it's unclear as to whether that’s the symbiote of Cletus. I know there are other characters with symbiotes, but the only one I really know much about is Flash Thompson's "Agent Venom", where I think he uses singular pronouns but also does talk to the symbiote a lot. But he and the symbiote seem to be more partners than one trying to take over the other.
It makes sense that Red Venom disapproves, seeing as even 90s Lethal Protector-era Eddie would try his best to actively draw the line on following through on this particular threat in spite of his violent attitude.

Since there seems to be some confusion in the comments, probably caused by the Venom movie trilogy getting this wrong as well despite being more faithful then most Venom video adaptions and mostly adapting this time period as well, Eddie is not serious about eating brains here. Back in this era it was a common threat and scare tactic Venom would use but not actually deliver on. (The one time the symbiote got sick and tried to force Eddie to do it he refused and found out chocolate worked as substitute instead) It wasn't till the villainous Mac Gargan became the host, aka the Scorpion, that Venom would start truly eating people. This is also adapting 90s!Venom which isn't a villain but a anti-hero. In the comics Eddie was mostly only a villain in the 80s, the symbiote did stay evil for longer thanks to absorbing a evil clone built to corrupt it and bonding to villainous hosts but thanks to the efforts of Flash and later Eddie would solidly be reformed like Eddie.
