    Great video, by the way, very helpful!

    • @AllAboutSolar
      @AllAboutSolar  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's besically the industry standard. Some people consider it 20 mm, extra 4 mm margin for module alignment adjustment but it varies as per specific requirement and other details like module dimension, pitch, clearance these considered here as standard. It can varies project wise.

      @@sejald5340 Yeah you can do that. But, that is not the right process always you have to give minimum 300mm Ground clearance. As per the Net Metering policy, it should be 400mm.

    There is a high rise wall of neighbor's houses on the south and west side of my house whose shadows are coming on my roof where I intend to install my solar panels. How to analyse this in Sketch Up that my installation will be shadow free all through the year. I also do not have the accurate measurements of the heights of the neighbor's walls.

    • @AllAboutSolar
      @AllAboutSolar  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      In this case, you can easily know the heights of the buildings through the number of floors. Generally 1 Floor= 3.5 mtr, if it is 3 floor bldg, Ht= 3.5 X 3. Then you have draw your building and give the proper height. After that cross check if shadow is coming in between 9AM to 4PM for 21st December.

      As you know Solar Generation depends on Solar Irradiance, in India during winter season before 9AM and After 15.30 PM the generation becomes low due to the low irradiation that's why when we do the shadow analysis, neglect these low radiation part.
