Not only did he waste who knows how much money, but also wasted everyone's time and if he wanted to decline the award, if he had said so earlier, he likely could have had some other scientist get the award, so all in all, this whole scene just makes Morbius look like a colossal dickhead.
No one ever talks about this scene but towards the 3rd act, Milo goes in the lab to ask her on the whereabouts of Morbuis and she has to lie and keep her heart rate down as he could hear her heart beat. It is subtle but I love it as it builds up decent tension

Man I would have loved to have seen Ian McShane in a 70's or 80's era Morbius horror flick make it like Cronenenberg meets Lovecraft where Morbius is a straight up villain throughout but a portals threatening to destroy all of humanity which Morb needs selfishly for food. That way you can keep Morbius as a creepy selfish horror villain and keep his edge while giving him a moral quest to save the world. Maybe have Jared Harris be his father figure but the guy who accidentally opened the Lovecraft portal to add personal stakes. Boom I fixed Morbius. Thoughts?

I love how your intro evolved into the catchphrase... Tooooo the show. Great show again, I like that modern movies get love too. There's a movie called "Escape the Field" 2022, the writing is absolutely hilarious. Keep it up man!
I can't get over the whole "dresses up, goes there, lets the whole ceremony go on and then declines the award" scene.
Not only did he waste who knows how much money, but also wasted everyone's time and if he wanted to decline the award, if he had said so earlier, he likely could have had some other scientist get the award, so all in all, this whole scene just makes Morbius look like a colossal dickhead.
I feel like mixing human and bat dna sounds like a great way to introduce a horrifying new form of hemorrhagic fever or something to humanity
Mark do you do stand up comedy as well? You seem like you would be a natural at it. Thank you for all the amazing content, you're the best!
Trolling marketing campaigns should be more common
We finally Morbed with Mark guys, what a time to be alive.
No one ever talks about this scene but towards the 3rd act, Milo goes in the lab to ask her on the whereabouts of Morbuis and she has to lie and keep her heart rate down as he could hear her heart beat. It is subtle but I love it as it builds up decent tension
OMG - I'm not alone! I watched this movie and the next day couldn't remember a single damn thing about it. I thought I was losing my mind!
Maybe the movie is ment to be a new sleep drug..?!?!✌️🇫🇮
Dude you always make me bust a gut! Great vid!!!
Glad you included that trivia at the end, for me it's the most hilarious part about all of this.
That the internet really got Sony to release it in cinemas a second time, so it can bomb at the box office twice lol
Thanks to Mark’s wonderful review I no longer need to see this film as I feel he summed up the plot perfectly.
As an added bonus I got MARKedly more enjoyment and laughs from watching this review than I would have gotten from the aforementioned film.
Thanks Mark!
When Jared started talking about the NFTs, I felt that 😂🤣
That’s why I love this channel. One week an obscure 50’s horror movie, the next a modern blockbuster (term used very loosely here obviously).
The scariest part of the movie was when Morbius says he bought Twitter Blue. $8 for Twitter Blue??? That one will give me nightmares.
The horror... the horror....
I just wanted to tell you, I've been a subscriber for over a year, TH-cam never pushes your content towards me after I subscribed, so I'm just now seeing this. You're hilarious though, so here is my comment to try to help your algorithm.
When Morbius said “it’s Morbin time” and morbid all over the bad guys I felt so many emotions I morbid too! Lmfaooooo 😂
I always love the gag at the end of Mark’s videos, like a wacky exclamation point. ❤
Morbius was definitely a movie that was made.
“I’ve done things…things that I can’t take back…I bought a bunch of NFTs.” Lmao
this is amazing, thanks for making my day Mark, it's Marking Time! ps. Love the new addition to the outro
Thanks!
So I heard that Jared Leto is gonna be in the new Tron movie. Yea...
I had a feeling this film was bad... I just didn't know how bad. Thanks, Mark!
I agree that it's the most forgettable Marvel movie, but honestly, Iron Man 2 comes close. I seriously don't remember anything about that movie other than a joke between Jon Favreau and Black Widow toward the end, and that Mickey Rourke was amped up as the villain but barely in the story.
I’m gonna call Lucien by his real name…
Young Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Mark. Since it's been over 10 years. Can you upload your old top 5 worst worst super hero movies? I miss you and your buddy laughing at bad Captain America and Catwoman reviews 🤣😔
I will admit that when Mark said "It's Markin' time" I marked alittle
Man I would have loved to have seen Ian McShane in a 70's or 80's era Morbius horror flick make it like Cronenenberg meets Lovecraft where Morbius is a straight up villain throughout but a portals threatening to destroy all of humanity which Morb needs selfishly for food. That way you can keep Morbius as a creepy selfish horror villain and keep his edge while giving him a moral quest to save the world. Maybe have Jared Harris be his father figure but the guy who accidentally opened the Lovecraft portal to add personal stakes. Boom I fixed Morbius. Thoughts?
I can’t tell you how happy it makes me when I see you’ve posted a new video. You bring so much enjoyment to so many people, and of course my favorite part of any video is when you insert yourself into it. Todays video was no exception, that wig!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
It was rather cruel of the makers to put the howling charisma vacuum that is Jared Leto next to Matt Smith.......you know, someone who actually has screen presence and talent.
I love it when you wear a wig, Mark.
I'll never forget this movie because I watched it on Twitch. It's meme status made it popular enough people kept showing it there, and the mods only banned the channels showing it when the credits were rolling.
I can't believe it's finally Morbin Time on the Mark Movie channel
Yesss and lease more movies at least within the last 20 years I loved this and all your videos ❤❤❤
Paused my 9th round of watching all WMWM in chronological order marathon to watch this.
I love knowing that you’ve kept the Samurai Cop wig all these years.
I can't believe sony was trolled into re-releasing this in theaters lol
My younger sister turned me onto you. And I really enjoy her recommendation. Thank you for the chuckle!
In real life there was a nurse that died in a stairwell in a hospital and she went unnoticed for 3 weeks. I don't know how anybody couldn't miss the unmistakable smell of decomposing human flesh. But here we are.
Must have been a pretty awful hospital if the smell of decomposing flesh is a normal occurence. :P
@@carn9507 I don't know, I would think a hospital was one of the stinkiest places around. Nurses don't give people bedpans to hold rose water!
@@toweypat I dunno, hospitals do tend to be quite cleaned often for sanitation purposes and such. And a rotting corpse is a very bad smelling thing. :O
So glad that I came across your channel. All of your videos have been solid content, man. Genuinely choking on my food after some of your deliveries here.
You're saying you weren't totally Morbed by this Morbiferous Morbin' Mastermorb of cinema?
I see the struggle you're having trying to come up with something to say about this boring-ass movie.....and yet you've done the impossible: you've made Morbius interesting. And with a fraction of the budget and 10 times the talent. Nicely done, man!
Btw: WTF HOLLYWOOD?!
I can't for the true sequel: Hello Mark: It's Markin Time.
The meme is more fun than the movie.
I can't believe Mark Morbed on camera. Best part of the review, it changed my life.
This movie reminds me of a discount Blade, 1997. And a very terrible attempt at that.
Blade was 1998 but yeah kinda. :P
Wait till you see Vampire Assassin
@@carn9507 okay 98 I knew was sometimes in the late 90s.
Mark review a movie that not make in 19xx?? omg, New Year New Mark
Thanks. Now I never have to watch this. You suffer so much for us.
The way you pronounced serum is going to haunt me for months
“Morbius is the movie of all time. It had a plot, characters, and possibly even a script.” LMFAO that person’s comment had me laughing..
Thanks!
Thank you!!!
Weird Movies With Milo is my favorite channel!
I was morbibly curious to check out this morbie. I gotta say it's the greatest morbie of all time!!! Citizen Kane is great but this one's morbtacular in every possible aspect of film-making.
I feel them making the sound waves visible when he flies was a great move. Looked really cool. And yeah, that is how he flies, by gliding on sound. Hey it is a comic book movie...
Great review thanks Milo 😁
I love morbius as a comic book character, that being said, some characters aren't meant to carry the whole story.
I've been a fan of yours since before you did that Bill O'Reilly parody. Hope you reach a million soon, because you sir are one of the good ones.
What world needs is a rom space knight movie. Galador awaits.
Whoa , I never thought my eyes would Morb such a Morbius sight! Thx for the review , it is indeed the morbiest movie that movied out there
This puts the biggest smile on my face.
GG Mark, for the content. Nice one
Finally a modern movie again
I really love your videos but I guess I’m just not into old movies
Keep it up man great video 🔥🔥
It's a shame because Morbius was a great character in the comics. I wonder if he wouldn't have been better used as an anti-hero/third character in a Spider-Man film who starts out as a villain but ends up as a tragic figure who helps the hero in the end and lives to find a cure.
