I'm surprised the lag bolts didn't break like 2 of the 6 I used to mount the motor plate. Went to the hardware store and bought new ones. I would appreciate re-reimbursement for those Proslat Inc.?
Love my gator lift. Use it for paddle boards and it’s been excellent. After 4 years of seasonal use it’s squealing when raising and lowering. Where should I oil or grease it? Thx
Says in the video that the lift needs a minimum of 3ft by 4ft of open space and the motor mount needs to be a minimum of 3ft from any walls or obstructions. Thats where the tape measure comes in. Stud finder is obviously used to find the ceiling joists if you have a finished ceiling. If you or ceiling joists are exposed then you can omit the stud finder.

If you use the Parallel Method (Option C or D), how much weight will a Single 2x4 Rafter or Joist be able to Safely hold??
