NISSAN TITAN XD TURBO DIESEL CREAK NOISE ON TURNS - EASY FIX!

This video is for owners of the 2016 - 2019 Nissan Titan and Nissan Titan XD Turbo Diesel that are experiencing a creak noise when turning left or right with steering at full lock. Video provides a step by step process to inspect and fix concern. Vehicle does not need to be lifted in air to perform. Currently a common issue with these trucks, all work performed by certified Nissan mechanic.

THANK YOU!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!! I just purchased a 2017 xd pro4x, I've had it a week and noticed this noise coming from both sides when maxed out hitting bumps. Just went and checked both bump stops are worn down to metal. Now I know what to tell the idiots at the dealership and don't have to play find the noise. THANK YOU.

For many years now, I have always gone to full lock and then turned the steering wheel back very slightly to avoid problems like this on all sorts of vehicles.

Actually they say Nissan is canceling the Titan diesel by 2020. Will just be gas version, yea they been having problems with them unfortunately.

Have any titan xd come in with loose steering boxes seems like a lot of talk on line different places with the same problem around 15k to 20k I'm at 17k and the steering play is 3/4 to inch both left and right when trucks sitting not running

I have seen that on a new Titan , it had a lot of play and was activating the traction control but mine was a loose nut on pitman arm , easiest way to tell is look underneath and have someone turn wheel slightly both ways, u will see it or feel it, thanks for watching!
