It’s concerning to me that we have heard basically nothing about the Alife 2.0 system in this game. The AI in the old games was one of the most interesting parts, but none of the marketing focuses on that, it’s all just story stuff.
I definitely agree with you about the mainstream marketing but there are a few articles that you can find talking about the a-life system. There is one thread that speaks about you going into a cave to investigate an artifact. You exit the cave and a-life activates, spawning a group of stalkers outside of the cave also interested in the artifact that you have taken to find. This is 1 example that I have found on the webz, hope that helps 😀
Dark Souls crawled, walked, and ran so Elden Ring could SPRINT into the Mainstream. All the same, Escape From Tarkov and the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games crawled and walked so STALKER 2 can (hopefully) run/sprint into the Mainstream.
I remember a decade ago, teenage me was looking up single-player game map-sizes for GTA:IV, Far Cry 3, Skyrim, RDR1, and I remember seeing S.T.A.LK.E.R.'s Zone absolutely blow them out the water with how huge it was? 🤔 ...I remember thinking how long it would take to walk from one end to another, but it was actually multiple maps, right? (I never played) - This sequel is going to be one big map though? I'm skeptical when they say they're aiming for 60FPS on Xbox Series X, yet lone S! 😂
Yah its 64sq km seamless, as for optimization they modified a lot of u5 engine, they said they are calling it u5.1.gsc .gsc is as a joke because they needed to rewrite lots of things to fit for stalker 2 from optimization to features, xbox series s is running at 30 btw
Yes, during that time they didn't have the tech to allow for all of the large areas to be seamless like we saw in gta, Skyrim etc. This map will be a massive seamless open world
How I got my copy Shadow of Chernobyl. I was in a school, told my classmate if you gonna steal Stalker cd game I give you 5 hryvnias. It was a joke but he did it. So we met at the computer club next to video game store and I got it. I’m not proud of it but it was hilarious.
I read a comment about how they find it ridiculous that the main character just throws away mags after every reload like they grow on trees or something. Now I can't unsee it. I hope that lack of detail doesn't carry over to other things not shown yet.
Escape from Tarkov has this nailed perfectly. You can actually perform a normal reload where the mag is swapped and correctly and an optional emergency reload where the player drops the mag to give you a slightly faster reload time.
that's not really fair, every other game in the history of games besides super modded anomaly do that exact same thing, to shit on stalker 2 because of it seems a little lazy imo.
@@paxconsciente3352Absolutely agree. Every game does it. Only tacticool games dont, which Stalker Is not. Even Anomaly does that, only some modpack dont throw out mags.
@@paxconsciente3352 that and to expect stalker 2 to be a milsim is expecting too much. It might be tactical grounded gunplay but it doesnt need that level of detail especially if its main goal is an actual gameplay loop which seems Stalker 2 does very very well.
I think we just need to focus on what to appreciate from the IP as a whole. A lot of what Stalker has done a decade ago is what a lot of other games strive to be now. Immersion is key and I think Stalker nails that. Reloading animations won't change your enjoyment hopefully 😁
tons of positive news and people seeming generally hyped. and then there's PC gamer thinking they're the 10th Man, Putting an idiot who doesn't even enjoy those kinds of games, in charge of doing the final preview. I know dude, it gets absolutely exhausting seeing people hating on something for what it isn't rather than appreciating it for what it is. I'm right there with you 😂

Awesome! I don't have a nice gaming PC but I do have a series x with gp ultimate so I'm STOKED. If it's any good at 2 hours in I'll buy it ..that's why I love Gamepass so much. We're not forced to buy something we don't like although we do pay a monthly fee for this benefit. So we're getting nothing free...but we are getting the very best value in gaming and it's by far. I do have a PS5 as well...and IN MY OPINION.. my series x is so much better this generation. I loved PlayStation last gen and didn't like Xbox ..but I was a big 360 fan so Im excited they're doing everything they can to bring it all back to a better era. A new...better era. I truly believe Sony will continue following suite. They never would have went with PC if Xbox didn't prove it financially profitable. Xbox releases a game here and there multiplat while simultaneously having exclusives brings in more more and more games for GP subscribers. It's actually a genius plan. IDC what anyone says tbh.
Well said! Yes Game Pass is such a great deal especially whenever it comes to trying out games before you buy them. So many people get great value out of Game Pass and I think this year and into next year will be the best in terms of what we are getting with AAA titles on Game Pass day one! 🤘😀
Not to be the "PC mAsTeR rAcE" guy, but on Steam you can buy a game and play it, and if you have less than 2 hours in it and owned it for less than 2 weeks you can just refund the game and get your money back if you're not pleased with it. No subscriptions needed. You do still need to buy it but you can get all of your money back if you don't like it.
Don't quote me on this but I believe that multiplayer is in the works for this game. I'm sure it won't be there at lunch but it is definitely something they have talked about 🙏
It IS!!! 😀 I fell in love with Chernobylite a few months ago and the soundtrack is incredible! It's a perfect soundtrack for post-apocalyptic game coverage.
I bet it will eventually be coming to PS5 later, originally before all the delays they had a PS4 release planned. Back then I got a PS4 just for STALKER 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2.
I totally get where you were coming from, however stalker is an established IP so we sort of know what to expect in terms of features and quality. So let's hope it's great! 🙏😀
Indeed it did. You should search for GSC Game World Documentary on TH-cam. It just came out, I cannot recommend it highly enough if you are interested to see this team's history. *Viewer discretion advised*
They mentioned this before with maybe going into a cave for example, doing a quest, coming out and stalkers will have spawned to see what you were up to, giving the feel that you were not the only one going after that quest or that location.
Is it possible to find out about the behavior of the npc during battle, are they just walking around like dummies or are the shootouts really interesting?
Can't say I'm a fan of all these mag-ditching reload animations and emergency "Spetsnaz" reloads being done as the standard reload animation with AKs. It's called an "emergency" reload for a reason. You don't do an emergency reload in place of a tactical reload when a tactical reload is all that needs to be done. NO ONE does that IRL. Not even the rookiest rookie would do that. And I'm also sick of "Wick flicks." Again, a type of mag-ditching reload animation. No savvy zoner would ditch mags willy-nilly in a place like the Zone where resources are precious. And if you did, assuming out of severe necessity, then it should be expected that you'd scrounge those mags back up after the battle. Then I hear you say, "Ah, but those mags aren't 'really' being ditched. It's just to make the animation look 'cool'." But that's part of my point. "Style over substance" should never be a formula applied to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.verse. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. should always be held to a higher standard than that. Anyway, I hope S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has a spawn menu or debug mode as a default feature for creating insane Zone Sportsmanship Challenges of demented do0m a go go! 7:28 Can you actually get that ax and use it like in Anomaly?
I'm sure there will be tons of options especially if you are on pc! I wouldn't worry too much about the animations, I do understand it can be a little immersion breaking when set in an apocalyptic setting where you wouldn't want to ditch mags

@@RedWolfRenegade Thanks! :) It was automatic. I hope it will be possible to toggle this.
Can’t wait for this and the next non vr metro
Oh my God me too! I was so excited whenever I realized Metro will also be on the quest 😁
I have been waiting patiently for it. I have a bunch we will hear something probobly slated for that fall time next year. Would be my guess.
So one thing I’ve heard is that it has auto leaning when you go up to a wall. I REALLY hope they fix this for PC and add manual leaning, and I know modders will eventually fix it but I’m just hoping the devs do before then.
What!? Really? As someone who loves the leaning in the original, this is really interesting to hear. Hopefully it feels good enough but I do agree with you, we do need manual leaning.
Anomalous dugout said normal leaning on keyboard and mouse is still there
After the first game, there were S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Real Player events, it was cool
I've heard about that! It's so cool how passionate this community is! 😄
Been waiting way too long, its finally about to happen! The poppy fields putting you to sleep permanently if you wander too far is crazy awesome.
Same here! I know that feature was so cool whenever I heard about it! Super pretty but super dangerous, just like the zone. 😎
Hope leaning is still a thing & the facilities like miracle machine, brain scorcher etc hope they return 🙌🏼
I hope theres that random element with loot stashes, I liked that about SoC and Clear sky and all the freeplay mods.
Me too! That added to the replayability of the games so much! I really loved hunting down stashes not knowing what I was going to get this time after having died and having to reload a saved prior.
Played the first three when they were released 15 years ago or so. I am really looking forward to this. I bought a series X for this and then recently a new gaming PC . Looking forward to playing it on PC where it really is made for but it should be a good experience on the X/S.
Oh my God I love your dedication! This is what the true Stalker fan base is all about. It was a cult classic for a reason, I'm so excited! We only have 30 days 🤘
@@RedWolfRenegade I am excited as well and yes 30 days and counting. I am ready to get back into the zone and explore and discover everything. I love games set in this time and the atmosphere they give off. I have played all of the Metro games twice.
@@RedWolfRenegade Love the setting and the feeling of desperation and struggle. I played the Metro series several times over too. I am very ready to get back into the zone.🤘
Good Hunting Stalker 🤘😎
Wow this game looks beautifully brutal! Thanks for the hype video
Bro it is! I would recommend the original trilogy but they are very rigid so they take some time to get used to. This game is going to be so awesome. Thanks so much for the support as always brother 🙏🤘
Love your content, bro!
😮🫂
Bruuuuuhhh!!
Colt Eastwood!!! The forehead of all gamers!!!!!!
Really hope they don't delay it again, I'd like to play it in this life time.
There will be no more delays 😉
If you guys loved the trilogy here are some mods that in my opinion captured the mysterious feeling of the trilogy(all standalone):
Made by Jekan:
Return to the Zone(3 story campaigns and a story extraction mode(surprisingly good I normally don't like extraction modes but this one... Loved it)), Goldensphere OGSR(based on Roadside Picnic), OGSR Legacy(pretty much a remake of ShoC with lots of cut content and user made content).
Team V.I.V.E.N.T.:
Incubator, Dreamcatcher(sequel to Incubator and a lot longer). They have more great mods but they still are hard to understand Machine translations.
zaurus' crew:
Apocalipsis Trilogy OGSR, Fallen star(also called "Der gefallene Stern" sequel to A-Trilogy), Last STALKER(sequel to Fallen Star)
Creators/teams I forgot the name of:
True Stalker(if you don't mind cutscene glassjaw), Dollchan infinity, Road to the north(story/free play hybrid, main story starts at Skadovsk), Path in the Mist, Wind of Time(it starts with timetravel from the year 2114 back to 2014 and has some big twists)
Yo! You rock dude! Thank you so much for sharing this. I will absolutely save this information and look into modding again! 😀
@@RedWolfRenegade you can find all of them in the c-consciousness community mod-spreadsheet.
@@RedWolfRenegade Sadly I can't link it but it should come up when you Google it
The link to the spreadsheet is on the moddb site showing up
It's the repack spreadsheet by Maxine. The other is way less organized
@@RedWolfRenegade also yellow names in the list are the community favorites I think?
Or the creator of the lists favorites
(also some mods are marked as not being standalone even tho they are. Return to the zone for example)
Hopefully this game will get me to finally dust off my series X. Hope it lives up to the hype
I think it will be great! Well, I'm hoping that it will be great! 😃👍
They've talked a little about it, but I think they're going to keep silent for the most part and just let players discover what it has to offer.
Cant wait for my ankles to bitten by dogs as the mutants kill me as my body explode from a anomaly.
It's gonna be glorious 😄
3:43 - Hey Vsauce, Michael here !
Classic 😁
Dark Souls crawled, walked, and ran so Elden Ring could SPRINT into the Mainstream. All the same, Escape From Tarkov and the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games crawled and walked so STALKER 2 can (hopefully) run/sprint into the Mainstream.
You nailed it bro, that's exactly right! Hopefully it's as great as we want it to be 🙏😀
Good hunting, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Cheeki Breeki! 🤘😄
Im excited to see how this game plays and the ai life system 2.0 it looks great
I remember a decade ago, teenage me was looking up single-player game map-sizes for GTA:IV, Far Cry 3, Skyrim, RDR1, and I remember seeing S.T.A.LK.E.R.'s Zone absolutely blow them out the water with how huge it was? 🤔
...I remember thinking how long it would take to walk from one end to another, but it was actually multiple maps, right?
Are you gonna buy it this time though?😂
😂😆 Wow what a story.
@@rafox66 sure! I’ll be waiting for it on ps5
Great video 👏🏻 looks awesome!!
Thank yoooooooooo!!!! 😀
step aside Astro Bot
Haha! 😂 Yes! 💯
Quest givers dying is a big fatal bug, I hope it's fixed before release.
I'm sure there will be workarounds. I think this may not be a bug rather than a hardcore feature in the original trilogy. Sort of like in Morrowind
It's not a bug it just can happen with A-Life. If a mutant runs up and kills them well... That's the zone for ya
I read a comment about how they find it ridiculous that the main character just throws away mags after every reload like they grow on trees or something. Now I can't
unsee it.
And shits all over it based on it not living up to its reputation from hardcore mods..
I know dude, it gets absolutely exhausting seeing people hating on something for what it isn't rather than appreciating it for what it is. I'm right there with you 😂
I just started playing Stalker for the first time on Xbox :) unfortunately, I suck at the game and its really scary at times but im trying to get better :)
That's awesome! Yeah it definitely takes some getting used to and especially for how old it is, the controls feel very rigid. Don't give up! 😀
@@RedWolfRenegade thanks :)
Really hope there’s a more casual setting I’m not very good at games
I hope everyone gets a chance to customize difficulty settings in some way to be able to experience it.
are you using chernobylite music in the background?
OMG yes! 😂😍
It's so awesome that you actually caught that! I fell in love with Chernobylite a few months ago and actually put up a review of it on this channel. Big fan of Stalker and Chernobylite style games.
@@RedWolfRenegade i beat the game to 100% completion on steam was very good but i recognized the music because i heard it so much while wandering the zone looking for supplies in between the main missions
I also 100% it as well on xbox! What a journey, such a good game. The next one is coming and it has third person! It looks very different

Great video
Thank you so much! 🙏😊
This is what fallout should be.
But finally something better.😂
I would absolutely love a Fallout game to be much more darker and serious like the Stalker games are!
@@RedWolfRenegade I'm extremely excited for all of it. It's definitely a new era if it all keeps working out
Not to be the "PC mAsTeR rAcE" guy, but on Steam you can buy a game and play it, and if you have less than 2 hours in it and owned it for less than 2 weeks you can just refund the game and get your money back if you're not pleased with it. No subscriptions needed.
You do still need to buy it but you can get all of your money back if you don't like it.
METRO 2 when?
I'm with you!
hmm is it normal that the video isn't in HD ?
No it should be in 4k. Thanks for letting me know I'll look into it 🙂
Get our of here stalker.
Cheeki Breeki!
This game is bad because I don't have it yet
😆 I laughed way too hard at this comment! I agree! It sucks until I have it!
Is there any Koop?
I'm not sure about PVE co-op but I believe that there will be a multiplayer mode. So we may see it announced in the future 😄
they need to put multiplayer into this game... that would blow practically everything out there out of the water...
Don't quote me on this but I believe that multiplayer is in the works for this game. I'm sure it won't be there at lunch but it is definitely something they have talked about 🙏
I dont think anyone has ever compared a bethesda game to a soccor game lmfao
Until now 😆
oi brother where was that background music from...i know it but cant remember where from
ohh its chernobylite isnt it?!
It IS!!! 😀
I fell in love with Chernobylite a few months ago and the soundtrack is incredible! It's a perfect soundtrack for post-apocalyptic game coverage.
@@RedWolfRenegade There must be a reason why i remembered it ;)
Not on PS5 ? Bro that is diabolical
I get it, I wish Final Fantasy 7 would come to Xbox. Or the last of us, or spider-man, etc
@@RedWolfRenegade Stalker is better than all those games except The Last of Us. Sucks but it is what it is. PS5 got Helldivers 2 which is amazing .
I bet it will eventually be coming to PS5 later, originally before all the delays they had a PS4 release planned.
Back then I got a PS4 just for STALKER 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2.
You pronounced the name of the game incorrectly
Did I? Stalker?
Guy's just calm down and stop the hype train, you don't want to experience Cyberpunk 2077 a second time right ?
I totally get where you were coming from, however stalker is an established IP so we sort of know what to expect in terms of features and quality. So let's hope it's great! 🙏😀
feels like cod or far cry .. arcadei gunplay...
If you get your hands on it, I think you will be very surprised. 😉
This came out of Ukraine?
Indeed it did. You should search for GSC Game World Documentary on TH-cam.
It just came out, I cannot recommend it highly enough if you are interested to see this team's history. *Viewer discretion advised*
What about AI ? A-life2 ?
They mentioned this before with maybe going into a cave for example, doing a quest, coming out and stalkers will have spawned to see what you were up to, giving the feel that you were not the only one going after that quest or that location.
@@RedWolfRenegade As far as I understand, there won’t be a full-fledged life simulation, but just NPC spawning?
Honestly I'm not entirely sure. I would have to do more research on it
Is it possible to find out about the behavior of the npc during battle, are they just walking around like dummies or are the shootouts really interesting?
Insanely buggy.
Haha! 🤣 We'll see!
Another franchise ruined by unreal engine 5
How is it ruined It's not even out yet, people who played for 3 hours said it's well optimized.
Me when I'm a retarded dipsht
Bait used to be believable
I wouldn't jump to conclusions until you've played it.
@@RedWolfRenegade Not in gamepaly terms but visuals. Tthe finals is made in unreal engine but and the gameplay is really fun.
