Beautiful artwork - and a beautiful location! Definitely a 'slice of heaven'! Thank you for sharing how to make these, and for the 'little clips' showing previous video techniques!
Thank you! I use E6000 also as you will see in my other videos, but I usually only use it for birdbaths. Sometimes E6000 melts in the hot Florida sun and bird feeders fall apart! I'm working on an adhesive experiment to see which ones work best : )
@@maryannprice2575 You should only mix as much as you will need to use withing a minute or two because it dries so fast. I learned the hard way the first time and mixed the whole tube of epoxy. It dried in the cup before I could use it!
Thank you! So far they are holding up well! It's all a learning curve, but the epoxy seems to work better than E6000. Others have used GE silicone which I haven't tried yet, but I will in a future project : )
@@MyLittleSliceofParadise I think you will enjoy his work , he has actually done glass sculptures all around the world for thousands of dollars and on the bridges of Venice Italy.
The autocorrect made me smile! I knew who you meant right away. One of our local hospitals has some of his work in the atrium and the art museum has a large sculpture as well.
I have used different kinds of adhesive to make these flowers and the only kind that lasted longest is marine silicone. I live in Fairbanks Ak and this silicone withstands the freezing better. Also, not all colored glass is natural. Often it is paint that fades or peels off. Scratch the bottom to see if the paint comes off. Or look through the edge of glass and painted glass will appear to have a darker color on the outsides and the inside will look clear and colorless. I like you idea for mounting it on with a hockey puck! That has more strength to hold so much more weight than a pipe bracket that i was trying. A piece of well painted wood could work too.
Thank you for that info, from the other side of the country! : ) Good to know about the silicone. I bet it's harder to apply because it's so thick? But strength is what matters. I am actually in the process of videoing an adhesive experiment to see which ones work the best. Should be done this summer : )
@@MyLittleSliceofParadise now i have discoved "Flex Paste" and it comes in black or white. It is very sticky and hard to smooth out but it will stop pipe leaks and can be used outside. I think this is a better option. But it takes up to 48hrs ro cure.
I love your creations and have to share that I stopped making my flowers due to the back post and support issues I was having. Thin PVC posts would bend eventually and I didn’t like having to always drill holes to anchor. Your hockey puck idea is genius, but I will leave flowers to others for now. But ... I did just get this egg plate and ... nah.
Thank you! I don't like drilling if I don't have to either. Try the bottle over conduit. The pole will not bend and epoxy will hold the bottle in place. I had my neighbor drill holes in the hockey pucks, that's about the extent of my drilling for flowers : )
I love the idea of adding the stamins. I’m definitely going to attempt making them. Great instructions! Do you have any ideas on making leaves to the plate flowers? I would like to try that, but need suggestions. Thank you for your tutorials. 🥰
Those are really beautiful! It had been years and years since I had worked with Sculpy clay, so I had to look it up to see how that was going to work!! I've subscribed so I can't wait to see what else you've come up with!
I LOVE them! 😍 Especially the frosted glass and blue. Its my favorite so far out of the hundreds I've seen. You sure found a treasure in those 2 pieces. They're really unique. I'd buy if from you if you'd sell it. Its SO pretty! 💖 I love the pink and clear too. I'd paint those hockey pucks white, but that's me. I'm just wondering if the epoxy holds better than the outdoor weather clear silicone? Larry is a great neighbor! Your kitties are two cute. My two would have to be right up there in the middle of things, lol. I'm 66 and have a learning disability. I'm a visual learner. If I can see how its made, I can make it. I'm so thankful to those who make videos for You-Tube. Thank you for sharing your videos. I subscribed and can't wait to watch more of your videos. Thank you, again. Blessings ~ 🌹
Thank you so much! These are some of my favorites too, I got lucky finding these pieces! I may try silicone next to see how it holds up compared to the epoxy. Larry is great and I love my cats ♥ Thank you for subscribing!
OMG c'est vraiment magnifique felicitation madame j'aime beaucoup c'est très original comme design, love love love 👍🌟🌟😘♥️💙😺🐱P.s vos chats sont très beau.
Love your content, beautiful craft, trying to figure out what part of the south you live in, very familiar scenery. But because of your accent I know you are not as far south as I am. Larry could be slightly north of my location, but you must be a transplant....lol! Moss filled oak trees near a lazy waterway, what a beautiful backdrop for your delicate flowers!
Thank you! You are very perceptive. Larry I think originally is from the Carolinas but has lived here in Central Florida most of his life. I am a transplant from Massachusetts but have lived here for around 40 years : )
@MyLittleSliceofParadise I was going to ask how the epoxy holds up to Florida weather? I'm about to embark on garden glass art, but with bolts holding them, mechanically. But I do like some of your glued on embellishments.
Oh so pretty! They could be in Wonderland! Is that a bougainvillea behind them? I'm so envious! It's snowing hard here, an extension of California's latest atmospheric river. Just last week we had a 68° day and I was sitting outside. Thank you for sharing a little bit of your warm day! 😊
Thank you! Yes It's blooming like crazy. I've heard that California has the best bougainvillea vines. Love them! I don't miss the snow, but I like to see pictures : )

They are absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you! ♥ : )
I love them all. I will try this for sure. Soooo unique and pretty.
Thank you! Have fun making them : )
I love how you have all your supplies laid out and you explain all your plans!
Thank you! ♥
What a beautiful repurposing of glass!!
Thank you! ♥
So unique and amazing! Thank you for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it! : )
On your stamins, you could also make them longer ,then wrap around a pencil to give them a fancy design.
Good idea! I'm always looking to try something new : )
Or use the wire to wrap around the rebar like a bone. Maybe some resin leaves would be cool!
I’ve said it before, you make the prettiest glass flowers!
Thank you! ♥
this are beautiful, I would find a way of incorporating some solar lights into them, I think they would really nice lit up for night.. good job!!
That's a great idea! Been thinking about that.. ♥

Fantastic craft content!! 🤗
Lovely and Beautiful.
Thank you so much 😊
This might be late, but I suggest spray painting the hockey pucks the same green as the rebar. These are stunning! Subbed.
Thanks for the sub! Good idea about painting them green : ) ♥
Flowers are so pretty. Please gift your neighbor, Larry, some safety glasses!! Encourage him to use them every time he is working !!!!!!!
I'm sure he has some ♥
You're not just crafty, you're clever crafty! These came out very nice!
Thank you! ♥
Those are lovely. I want to make some this summer. Some other glass artists use E6000. You must think that the epoxy is stronger. I love your cats.

How much of the jb weld can you mix at one time and how much work time will i have before it won't work.

I love your color choices and the shape of the glassware. You have good taste!

Excellent color combinations and shapes! I wonder if they ever come unglued? Does the glue always adhere and keep the heavy glass in tact?

nice informative video and love the kitty visits. lost my kitty of 14 years ti diabetes a couple of months ago. your video was purrrfect.
Thank you! Sorry about your loss ♥
Beautiful choices to make the flowers with and what a kind neighbor to do the drilling for your hockey pucks.
Thank you! And I agree ♥
