I love your comments about the battle's incoherence. Sauron and Celebrimbor are so dynamic together that everything else pales by comparison. Also, huge props to Galadriel's scenes with Arondir and Celebrimbor. Her wisdom in this episode was so lovely and felt earned coming out of her growth post-Sauron's deceit.
Yes! You suddenly realise she is this character that holds a leadership position in the eyes of most elves and she's earned it in a way that previous to her character growth during season 1 (and post season 1) she hadn't so much. It's a great testament to how they've handled her character.
Where is Celeborn for I much desire to speak with him. 😅 Elronds horse was definitely the MVP. This is what I like the most about Galadriel, she's not a Mary Sue, perfect from the beginning. Galadriel was once a fearsome warrior I mean she fought in battle against the great Feanor in the first kin slaying. I adore the fact that she of all elves has been pushed over the edge so much in her life and yet now, possessing the ring of adamant, she is not the warrior consumed to the point of destroying herself and others for the cause and is choosing wisdom over fear. Last season Galadriel may well of pushed Celebrimbor aside prioritising her vengeance over the ones she loves. Just beautiful. I think I remember that Gil Galad stayed out of the battle because 2 rings of power on the battlefield was too much of a risk to take but Gil Galad must of decided at some point that as the king of the Noldor it was his place regardless to be the fearsome warrior rather than a ring bearer.

Loved it more than trilogy
