One would figure that once Angelique became a Vampire she would no longer have a hold on Liz just like Laura the Phoenix burned up in flames and she no longer had a hold on Liz.
@@bruce8808 Angelique's curse on Barnabas lasted about 173 years after Angelique died. Angelique's power comes from Diabolos, whereas the Phoenix's power comes from Ra. Thus, there is no reason that the limits of their respective powers should be the same.
👍😆Perhaps Julia's blood doesn't agree with his system so he's looking a bit green about the gills. 😉 I wonder why they did that green lighting or make-up with vampire Tom, but not vampire Angelique nor vampire Barnabas before him. If I recall correctly, in Josette's visions of herself as a vampire, they made her look yellowish green. [Spoiler Alert] They made Roxanne Drew look a pale blue-green color as a vampire. I guess there's some variation of the effects of vampirism on different people. Perhaps it is blood type related since Julia had noticed modifications of blood cells as a result of vampirism when she studied Barnabas blood in developing a cure for his vampirism.
@@bruce8808 originally he was the narrator at the beginning of the show. He actually did an episode, "the smiler", where he gets killed by Ben Murphy's character. I never "bought off" on his version of Pete Duel's character when he took over the role. Pete was great 🌹
In the supernatural world of Universal Pictures, silver bullets were only used against werewolves. Traditionally, silver burns the vampire's skin causing them pain, and silver chains can immobilize them, but it does not kill them. However, in the Dark Shadows world, in the 1795 storyline, episode 459, Joshua Collins reveals that he learned from an ancient book of witchcraft in Boston that a vampire can be destroyed by a silver bullet through the heart. This is the first time this method of destroying a vampire is mentioned in the series. In episode 459, Joshua sent Riggs into town with a silver candelabra and instructions to have a silversmith melt it down and create six silver bullets that Joshua could then use to kill Barnabas to release him from Angelique's curse. In this video, Barnabas taking the silver candlestick into town to have five silver bullets made from it mirrors Joshua's original actions along those lines.
Every day full of mysteries and the unknown! Forever DS Fan Forever ❣️🩸🦇🩸
Humboldt Alfresco is perfect for the part of Old Nick as he has the sinister facial features of the Trickster.
Agreed I love him so much ❤
Geez, one of the worst examples of mangling the spelling of someone's name that I've seen. His name is Humbert Astredo.
A lot of people usually mispell his name actually lol. I've seen him called humberto many times and humpert once LOL @@luminiferous1960

Yikes! Tom is not only a vampire but he's morphing into The Incredible Hulk! Green he is! LOL
Barnabas is a tired old weenie so naturally she wants Thomas the hulk-hunk who is a real hot dog. 😆

Why can't these vampires just pick on each other?! 😮
No blood from another vampire.
No fun in that. They want fresh necks

That lab equipment in the cellar of the old house is a big improvement instead of it always being the coffin room.
@@bruce8808 True, always being in the same room with a coffin would give anybody the willies. No pun intended.
Okay, I thought silver only kills werewolves not vampires. Barnabas, use a wooden stake. Poor Julia, she can't use a cross or garlic against Tom?
Not once a Vampire has control over their victim. Julia has lost any resistance to stay away from Tom.
