Abandoned Boats on Heswall Shore

  • Boats on the Heswall shore, 99% are owned and visited by owner but there are a hand full of abandoned boats, Some completely totted away. The council are trying to track down these owners so the area can be cleaned up.
    if any of these boats are yours i would recommend calling Wirral Council

    Hope you had your wellies with you !
    Great footage as always - especially the drone shots.
    You can see why the Council want to clear away the boats - they're a right eyesore.
    Shame really, they must have all been shiny and new at one time.
    Can't understand why owners would just abandon them 😞

    Are they still there. I read an article saying a councillor was going to have them cleared. Shame if that's happened. Boat graveyards make for good photography ops

    There's some junk that certainly has been dumped. Afraid to say it looks like a right eyesore
