This is propably the best tutorial video ever, no crap, music or funny jokes, just the thing done clearly. I have to do this for my '91 very soon. Bike is in pristine condition overall and rides great but valves make noise when hot. My guess is they have never been adjusted before. I have to rent some sort of garage for this, i live in center downtown, places where you can do work are rare. It does not look too complicated job to do, only thing is that you propably mix order of those tiny buckets easily.
Valves will not make noise, because clearance will always diminish. When you hear noise then camshaft followers may be the problem due to wear. This is very unusual. I disassembled VFR750's that after 65.000 miles had camshafts that were within factory tolerancies
Make sure you didnt put the spark plug wires wrong!!!! Some people mix up the wires for #1 and #3 cylinders with the wires for #2 and #4. With this engine you can mix #1 with #3 and #2 with #4 because of wasted spark ignition, but you cant mix the front with the back.
The same but with fucked up access, if you undo the bolt that secures the radiator from the left side, you can pivot it to the front and then you are able to tie it somewhere to prevent it pivoting back. The same as when changing the front spark plugs. Its as major pain in the ass, the space is so tiny Im going to bend all the radiator fins, Im sure of that. I will probably remove the carbs and access from the top, I believe thats the best option.
Cringe moment ... pulls a cam bucket then starts tapping it over the open motor to release the shim ... not good, drop em in the motor at your peril... you forgot a dab of Honda bond sealant on the corners of the rocker gasket half moons where they're prone to leaking ... good well filmed vid, thanks for sharing.

Tbh that looks easier than a fireblade motor
accidental slow mo adds drama to an otherwise drama-less maintenance video

Indeed mate, my thoughts exactly.
