Hey Dr. I believe you can speed up egg collection by propping open the cover of the egg boxes with a stick or a built in leg on a hinge. That way the person collecting will have both hands free instead of holding the lid opened with one hand and collecting 1 egg at a time with the other. Just an idea to save some time.

I think the yellow spots on the oranges is sun burn. You could plant a dappled tiny leaf tree such as a nitrogen fixer in the position to provide shade at about three o'clock.

If I remember properly the fruit turns a yellowish color for a short time then orange when done. I think your fruit just isn't fully ripe yet but it maybe a different strain then the ones I ate in Florida called Valencia Oranges. I found this online. Satsumas ripen from October - December; Ruby red grapefruit ripens November - May; lemon ripen July - December; kumquat ripen November - April; Navel & Hamlin oranges ripen October - January; and Valencia oranges March - June. For me I remember harvesting in March/April mostly with sometimes later being better. Mostly because my birthday was in March and I was disappointed one year that the fruit wasn't ready yet but usually I would have an orange for my birthday.

Where I live in the USA I have diffrent predictors but they are not as smart nor as tenacious as baboons ( I have lived in India and visited several areas of Africa so I know how smart strong and tenacious they are 😁)
