Cacao, coffee and plantains can only be grown in a very small area of the world. I don't know about where you live, but corn is virtually worthless in the US. At around 150 bushels per acre and ~$4 per bushel, you're looking at about $600 per acre in profit BEFORE expenses. The only companies making profit off of corn are the massive growers with thousands of acres and facilities for value-added processing.

What’s the difference between garlic and gourmet garlic? Also growing garlic requires ‘intense’ crop rotation. After harvest it can take between 3-5 years before you can replant garlic in the same field.
What you can grow is also HIGHLY dependent on what the local market buys. Here in the Midwest many elevators will ONLY take Corn, Soybeans, Wheat and Oats all of which prices suck vs inputs lately. If you grow anything else you either have to store and truck it 100s of miles away or risk being stuck with it and a complete loss. Crop insurance is another issue, most banks require it for operating notes and many areas are prone to drought. So if there is no Crop Insurance coverage for that crop or its too expensive, then you cant grow it.

It will cost you a million at least to build an acre mushroom farm with all the ventilation to protect from spores and all the substrate for the spawn bags.
You state how much the product is selling for. And how much you can grow per acre. Then how much you COULD make per acre. But you say nothing about the COST to grow the said products. So in reality, you can at least half what the profits would be.

Gourmet garlic should consist of bulbs that are uniform, large and heavy for that particular cultivar.

@@vking4535 microgreens take A LOT of seeds to grow all those plants. Seeds are RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE! It is a very unsustainable trade. Seed banks are already getting small from the microgreen hype. This list has nothing to do with "pure profit". It is just a list of revenue. After expenses this list is laughable. It will cost you a million at least to build an acre mushroom farm with all the ventilation to protect from spores and all the substrate for the spawn bags.
