It took me 8 years to realize that the head to the keyblade that Riku/Ansem is wielding has a missing heart as an outline. Putting 2 and 2 together, I guess it represents the fact that the keyblade was forged from the Princesses of Heart's hearts and that there's one heart missing; Kairi's.
"The Princess's heart is responding! It has been there all along. Kairi's heart rests within you!" "It is I, Ansem, the seeker of darkness!" "So, I shall release you now, Princess. Complete the Keyhole with your power. Open the door! Lead me into everlasting darkness!"
When Riku defeated Ansem, he returned to the true Dreaming Worlds because Ansem's power was what made him a Dream Eater. In this game, we found out that Ansem was a freaking powerful being.
Can't wait to hear the full orchestra version of this song in KH 1.5. Yes, they remade the soundtrack with high quality sounding orchestra instruments. And it sounds beautiful!
Keyblade of Hearts is one half of the X-Blade. Ansem went about collecting 7 Lights while Xemnas went about collecting 13 Darknesses. Sora interrupted Ansem before he could completely forge the Light half of the X-Blade, by defeating him before he could forge Kairi's Heart into it.
The battle itself was hard but nothing impossible. The fact you could not skip the cutscenes was *extremely* tedious. It's the equivalent of fighting Ornstein & Smough but everytime you die you have to re-watch the entirety of the Dark Souls opening. Pretty shitty comparison, but it's the only one that comes to mind right now XD.
me too until i found a way not to get hit, which took me forever to realize that there is this one spot where he's not coming through when he uses the move he always used to beat me with.
As I was saying, the kingdom-key is not sora's base keyblade. The Dream-Sword is. The base keyblade comes to you in the Dive to The Heart usually. *Spoilers* For Sora it was the dream sword, for Riku it was the Soul-Eater (according to interviews with Nomura), for Xehanort it could have been the Aerial-blade like weapons he used in BBS, for Roxas it could have been the struggle-bat (ok, that one is a little far fetched).

@@Ayumuobsessed Lol, let them be salty.
"YA YA YA YA YA YA YA YA YA YA YA YA, SURRENDER YOUR HEART TO DARKNESS"
Oh god.
You need the glide ability to dodge that
1:30-1:40
2:53-3:04 Those parts of the song are always stuck in my head
I actually hope this theme comes back to KH3 Both nostalgic and epic not to reuse it
You can see into the future because it happens!

Oh boy past version of you....
THE PROPHECY
IT HAS BEEN FULFILLED
Bruh
It's "your screwed" song when you don't have Cure or Cura.
At this point in the game how would you not have at least cure? Lol
because my mp would be low and i wont have ether
The way the comment was worded, at least to me anyway, seemed like you were implying it was possible to go into this battle without cure at all
oh my bad. yeah its when your low on mp. sorry about that.
What about leaf bracer.
Here it comes!!
Heal from THIS!!
Come, open your hearts to Darkness!!!
Show me your power!
My skills have failed me...
Welcome oblivion!
DominionWolf show me your power
prince vegeta Already did that. Sorry. :\
"The Princess's heart is responding! It has been there all along. Kairi's heart rests within you!"
"It is I, Ansem, the seeker of darkness!"
"So, I shall release you now, Princess. Complete the Keyhole with your power. Open the door! Lead me into everlasting darkness!"
" *I'M UNSTOPPABLE!*
*YOU LIKE IT?!*
*WHO'S STRONGER?!*
*I'M DONE WITH YOU!*
*TRY AGAIN!*
*LATER!*
*D A R K N E S S!* "
*ONE MORE!*
I'LL SHOW YOU HOW POWERFUL I AM!
"Behold the power of darkness"
When Riku defeated Ansem, he returned to the true Dreaming Worlds because Ansem's power was what made him a Dream Eater. In this game, we found out that Ansem was a freaking powerful being.
"Show me your power!"
*hits his blade*
"Useless."
Can't wait to hear the full orchestra version of this song in KH 1.5. Yes, they remade the soundtrack with high quality sounding orchestra instruments. And it sounds beautiful!
Riku: Open your heart to darkness
Me: *internal screeching*
Sora: Aaaaou
Screen: Continue / Load Game
I like the guy in the first game who beat us all within a half inch of our lifes ends of saving us in DDD
*_*Uses strike raid*_*_ XD_
The picture is so weird and yet epic at the same time. How can this be?
Really upset they didnt put this in smash.
I don't know if it's the unskippable cutscene or the battle itself that made this the Dark Souls of its time?
The battle itself was hard but nothing impossible.
The fact you could not skip the cutscenes was *extremely* tedious.
It's the equivalent of fighting Ornstein & Smough but everytime you die you have to re-watch the entirety of the Dark Souls opening.
Pretty shitty comparison, but it's the only one that comes to mind right now XD.
me too until i found a way not to get hit, which took me forever to realize that there is this one spot where he's not coming through when he uses the move he always used to beat me with.
I'm surprised this track, or more specifically it's I.5 remix wasn't included in Smash
This famous battle return in KH3 !
Riku: Teleport spam
Me at the edge where he can't hit me:
👁👄👁
Sora: The fk is this music
Riku: Fight mah Bitch
*Sora gets Bitch slapped*
Sora: Shit just got real
Nice meme
That keyblade looks sharp as hell. lol
cohesionfield No wonder why every attack does so much damage
Wish this song was in Smash with Sora but hey ho not to be sadly
Yea this game was hard as a kid, but this fight, this fight was basically everyone’s wake up call that the game isn’t messing around anymore and is about to get way more challenging
WHATS THE SCORE NOW RIKU?! 'looks at the score which shows me and a mere 3 while Riku is at 50 with 30 more added to Riku's score as a result of this fight' dammit all!!!!!!!!!!!
when you get in a fight real life *music starts blaring*
Come Guardian!
My Strength is Returning!
Insolent!
Submit!
Take this!
Ahahahahahahaha ha!
Help!
Goofy!
When your mom comes home and sees you haven't taken the chicken out of the freezer like she asked
Kairi...Kairi's Inside Me?
Here it comes! Here it comes! Is that it? Show me your power! Heal this!
Me: this boss is actually pretty hard.
My first ex: no he's not. *Was on standard and was over leveled*
Me: *was underleved and on proud.* Huh.
You hear it twice. Once against Ansem in Hollow Bastion and once against Ansem at World's End.
This should have been in Ultimate.
