Ironically this song is relevant for what's going on right now. I miss hanging out with my friend. Being home all day sucks but at least I have these treasured memories. Sure there's Google hangouts but its not the same as being there physically with your best friend hanging out, talking about life, going to the movies, and laughing enjoying each other's company.
I just realized: all of these characters are in the same pictures, even Organization XIII because they have their own painful stories and life... They're human too. They have Treasured Memories.
I love this song because it helped me realize that friendship really can help you pull through this heavy life... I was crying as I slept but I was really happy because I knew the friend I hung out with yesterday is a good friend who will stay with me till the end. It hit me like a wrecking ball, no joke (and I'm not apologizing for using that analogy.) Man I love how this song is such a mix of feelings, so it can be sad or nostalgic.

I joined to a new company as a seller before a year, we were 4 co workers that slowly become good friends, today we got a message that the affiliate that we working in, is closing tomorrow, just like that, its was fun to work there and we all was plus or minus the same age(27)... My affiliate manager worked there 9 years, i actually feel more sorry to him it was his second home... Last week I started kingdom hearts series again from the the first one... And i can't stop thinking about that ost...
This was my first Kingdom Hearts game. Even with zero context of Kingdom Hearts 1 and Chain of Memories, I felt sorry for Sora. Kid lost everything, his friends, his home, his world, and basically became a world hopping child soldier to save the universe from eternal darkness.
The finsl reveal for Sora in Smash was emotional enough. But when the youtuber Hbox mentioned Etika(a beloved Smash playing TH-cam personality that tragically took his own life) and his editor inserted this song in the video, I'm positive that every Smash and KH fan embraced, and just... Bawled their eyes out together.

I love how they used this theme when restoring Sora's memories in the cutscenes. It sounds so longing, longing for Sora to wake up and remember.
