I'm a huge Marillion fan because of how beautifully they can construct a gloomy, melancholic song. Green Carnation has really put together a dark masterpiece here. Adding the strings really enhanced this concert.
fantastic concert from the superb piano intro alone and the band started quiet and soft in. And the male vocal start to sing, and he won my respect from the first word, amazing. I did run and bought the Live dvd A NIGHT UNDER THE DAM, and ordered the two albums I did not have, I am one huge serious fan! 10/10
Thank you for uploading this! Can't find if anywhere as DVD/Blue-Ray. This was favorite concert of my friend and I and we listened it on many occasions. He passed away and every time I watch this I have very fond memories. Especially when listening GC version of Six Ribbons 49:25 by Jon English.

Honestly he is better in Green Carnation than Tristana. Green Carnation may be a bit of a niche music style, but it brings a new dimension to light doom metal that other bands haven't been able to quite reach. Also theremin solo.

100% not! It has nothing to do with any Dream Theater songs. Less of all any SFAM or Vacant. Far beyond of sounding like any of these. Besides that, GC would never use a intro from another band to open their own show, nor is there any other famous band that does this and if unknown bands does this, maybe they should ask themselves why they are still unknown!

These musician's are the modern equivalent of Beethoven and Mozart..these guys completely blow my mind with their musical mastery..
