I had the privilege of seeing Eivor live for the first time yesterday, opening for Heilung in NZ. I sobbed like a baby during Hymn49, the entire set was absolutely mind-blowing. Thank you so much for coming all this way to share your art!
I can only imagine! I saw Heilung last November, and and it was magical. Adding Eivor to that ticket, and to hear Eivor AND Maria Franz must have been absolutely transcendent. Did they ever sing together???? I'm pretty sure my soul would leave my body if they did.

It was magical, made extra special by a local cultural performance group being invited on stage to do a really powerful Maori Haka in full traditional gear. They all joined on stage for the last song and final ritual.

Je la suis depuis quelques années et je suis heureux d’aller la voir à Paris en octobre prochain. Elle n’a pas la visibilité qu’elle mérite. Une grande artiste.

I first saw Eivor live in 2017 in a tiny London pub. There were maybe 50 of us, all entranced by her. To see her now rock big stages everywhere, touring with Heilung and Wardruna, just warms my heart, this has been her due for a long long time 💜
She is not a human. She is a witch! I saw her at Copenhell this year, was absolutely hypnotized. Have been obsessed with her music ever since, cried half of the concert. Man cried! She is touching the strings of your soul you never knew you had.
To hopefully better identify what you mean, She's in touch with her spirituality. Not necessarily religion, but spiritual realm. She's emitting her divine feminine. And she does an amazing job of sharing part of it and keeping the more intimate guarded.

I saw Eivor & her great young band last night in Brisbane, Australia, in a small, crowded rock venue. I was metres from her, mesmerised. Tears, goosebumps, hot & cold flushes, euphoria…it evoked powerful emotions & somatic sensations . Eivor is just SO regal. I’m getting teary now remembering it. I’ve seen a lot of performers in my life, she’s a standout…& I even met her afterwards outside the venue.

I"ve been a fan since 2018, and if I didn't already love her, she certainly solidified it for me in 2020. By the time the pandemic was in full swing (May of 2020), she, like many artists, were doing concerts from their home. Eivor was such a breath of air, so warm and kind and welcoming during a time where we were all isolated from each other. Eg elska teg, Eivor! ❤

It's interesting to see how Eivör seems to appeal to metal fans and I'm sure if she would form a band with musicians from that genre, performing her own songs, it would fit right in there. As we can hear in some of her songs here, she has the capability of growling quite easily and by combining that with her world class vocal abilities she would most likely become a leading metal vocalist. Btw, I've seen her in concert many times and I have some precious memories of being totally blown away be her energetic presence and outstanding performances.
