Had an awesome but freezing time hillbilly. Good thing we were able to cross that last creek with the one rock we had to move. Much better then swimming out 🩵
My cousin I recently lost from WV took me to this stream. That day we did about 4 miles up stream and back fall trout fishing. Talked about doing a 2-3 day fly fish trip up otter. This video was cool to see the parts in the beginning we where at AND the parts I haven't that I'll bring another friend along to experience. Good video man.
Possibly backpacking Otter Creek this weekend with my buddy and my pup. This video helped me understand the trail a bit and to know what to expect as far as stream crossings. The water should be pretty low right now I think, but we may see here soon. I'm impressed with y'all doing this in January! I live in Tucker County so I know how rugged it can be.
Easy answer. I usually kick over cairns that serve no purpose. The ones in remote areas that are important, I leave. We moved the rocks because it's fucking January and didn't want to get hypothermia from being soaked in 20 degree weather. 🙃 🤨
Otter Creek Wilderness in January is tough. Please don't knock down trail cairns as you put other groups in danger. Rock piles with no purpose you can knock down. Great video. Otter Creek Wilderness is the most difficult wilderness in WV. I know.
Fun video! Hilarious with the under the bed sock chat!!! 😂
Great trip. Love the water 💦 fun times with friends
Incredible job 👍! Your video was so well-crafted and thought-provoking, keep up the amazing work.

Another great hiking video! Thank you for sharing. I always look forward to your adventures!
A kick-ass adventure there Eddie! Love to see the snow sometimes, but not when wet. Glad you still had fun though. 👍💯
Curious why you usually knock cairns down but don't mind your friend moving rocks around in the creek to make your creek crossing easier

@@blueridgeboy1981 Guess that still happened though
Only our feet got wet, as apposed to our entire bodies. We moved one rock so that we wouldn't freeze. Anything else?
That looked intense but a also a hella of a lot of fun with great company! Great video as always my dude!

Is there ever enough snow to snowshoe in this area ? Thanks
