Hi Raghuveer Ji, it's important to get a consultation from a psychiatrist. They can accurately diagnose your condition and develop a personalized treatment plan. Psychiatrists can offer therapy, prescribe medication if needed, and provide ongoing support, helping you manage and improve your symptoms effectively. Don't hesitate to reach out for assistance. Thank you for watching and I wish you good health!
Thanks for commenting, and I feel you could connect to the video. I am providing mental health awareness by this video and to get a diagnosis or treatment, it would be best to consult a Psychiatrist. If you are not satisfied, take a second opinion from some other Psychiatrist and follow the one with whom you could connect, who could answer your queries and included you in the care process plan and execution. Take care and never hesitate to ask your queries by commenting.
Oh, I am sorry to know about this. I hope you are taking appropriate treatment from Psychiatrist. I wish you good health, please take care of yourself.🙏

Yes, convincing the patient to seek a consultation can be challenging. You'll need to find a way to persuade her to consider getting one. Here's what you can do: Express concern gently without being pushy (but remaining firm is important), offer info on mental health, be supportive without pressure, respect their choices, monitor their well-being, request them to get a joint consultation along with you etc. Remember to take care of yourself too.

Your comments highlight a very challenging and painful experience. It sounds like you have been dealing with someone who may have Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), and this has deeply affected you. I am worried for your well-being and it is advisable to consult a Psychiatrist at the earliest. Here are some key points to address your concerns: 1. Is there no cure for NPD? - NPD is a complex mental health condition and while there is no cure, there are treatments available. Therapy, particularly psychotherapy, can help individuals manage their symptoms and behaviors. 2. Forgetting actions and repeated blocking/unblocking: - These behaviors can be indicative of NPD, especially the manipulative patterns like blocking and unblocking, and the cycles of idealization and devaluation. 3. Does NPD worsen with age? - Personality disorders can become more entrenched over time if not treated, but this varies from person to person. Some people might experience a reduction in symptoms as they age. 4. Awareness of the disorder: - People with NPD may not always be aware of their condition or may not admit to it even if they are aware. This can make treatment and management more difficult. 5. Fear of dying and childhood trauma: - The fear of dying and displaying behaviors reminiscent of a young child could be connected to deeper psychological issues, often stemming from past trauma. 6. Multiple symptoms and substance abuse: - The presence of multiple symptoms and substance abuse complicates the situation, making it more difficult for both the individual and those around them. 7. Manipulation and depression: - It is common for individuals with NPD to be manipulative, which can lead to significant emotional distress for their partners. It is important to take care of your own mental health and well-being. 8. Moving away and seeking help: - Distancing yourself from a person with NPD, especially if the relationship is causing you harm, is often necessary. Seeking support from friends, family, or a mental health professional can provide you with the necessary help and guidance. Given the complexity of NPD and the impact on your mental health, it is recommended to consult a mental health professional i.e. a Psychiatrist. You can get proper assessment and tailored advice and support based on your specific situation. Remember to take care of yourself and prioritize your well-being over anything else. My best wishes are with you!🙏
