I think we would be surprised at how few, considered good, or great, bass singers, can actually hit a G below Low C, in natural voice, like this. Many can hit it using vocal fry, or subharmonics, which are falsettos, and some sound good, but few can hit notes, much below Low C, in strictly natural, modal voice. My hat is off to the late, Great, Mr. Billy Todd.
Mr. Billy Todd in my opinion is one of the greatest bass singers of all time.
