I like how the scene when Niko realised that you never left should be a happy one, but because of the circumstances you are devastated and the last thing you would like to do is to talk about anything happy with you. You only want to talk about what you just learnt. But the player has fairly limited control over the events of the game, so you can't just yet.

the song is also played AFTER you complete the last puzzle, and sped up to regular speed it sounds similar to the puzzle solved sound effect when you solve a puzzle

maybe because there's no "true pacifist route", like in undertale, where you can save both. either way, I love this game, even if it only has bittersweet endings.
this ost fits to a happy ending thts my feeling when i hear this when i hear this... idek its peacefull and its happy something want everyone i care about to feel. this ost is more than music its an art something that can make you forget about your struggles everytime you hear it something that can remind you of someone you love and care about alot or a very good memory you can fit this ost in different places of the game but to me it would fit best in then solstice ending the edning where everything is saved the ending where everyone is happy :3
when I first played Oneshot, I didn't think of it as a "depressing" game. I thought it was a horror game when it sent a file on my documents folder, but then I realized the reason why the game exists when it dumped this absolute truckload of tears at my door. 😭😭😭😭😭😿😿😿😿😢😢
