Sure she’s sincere and I applaud her for her prison reform work, but she’s still a bit out of touch with the reality of the majority of the world.
Over all these years her personality just keeps getting better and confidence is becoming her thing now. I really love how she answers in the talkshows, so calmly and unapologetic of her mindsets. She has truly become an influence in terms of style and confidence✨️
Unpopular opinion: Good for Caitlin/Bruce Jenner. But you know, it affects other people. Kris and her kids had to almost mourn a loss, like a death because she’s no longer the person they knew. They go through a grief , all the stages, denial anger and eventually acceptance. While it might be brave it hurts the people that love you most, not because they don’t want you to be who you are but because you are literally killing a part of their life some hopes and dreams I’m sure Kris imagined growing old with Bruce and that becomes part of ones identity no matter how independent you are. All I’m saying is yes people can support the person who’s transitioning but it doesn’t mean they are the only person going through a tough time. There’s not only one person and one side. After I watched the Danish girl I realised this even more, the wife was so hurt and she supported her husband but no one cared to support her and she was a wreck for a lot of it. It certainly isn’t one side and we need to be more sensitive to all those involved, everyone needs support through sth like this, no ones feelings are more important that the others.

Someone close to me has a daughter who was born male and he always said he felt tremendous loss at the time too. To me though, this highlights how rigidly gendered society still is. Not least that people feel they cannot stand to exist as one or the other, but also that choosing to live as another gender than the one you were born with makes such a profound difference that even your family cannot see you as the same person anymore. This seems crazy to me in this day and age. We still have a long way to go.
In an ideal world it would never be an “unpopular opinion” to say good for you, such as when someone chose the difficult road of freeing themselves, like Bruce. To let people live, completely without our judgment and with acceptance. Letting go, whether someone is being true to themselves or learning lessons that later may help them to be true to themselves. What you’re describing is applicable to life in general. That’s compassion, which is inclusive and for everyone, in every situation.
Transitioning affects those immediately involved besides the trans person, yes, but still the transition will always be hardest on the trans individual for more reasons than I can count. So, to say that the suffering is equal, just simply is not true. Everyone needs support in the situation, yes, but to put things into perspective, most would not commit suicide because their father transitioned to female or vice versa, but said father may very well indeed commit suicide if they're unable to transition themselves.
I feel like it’s such a complex situation. It’s the aspect that as a person, no one would want to be unhappy for their entire life. Yet I understand that trans people have molded themselves to what others expect of them for the majority of their lives. In a way they sacrificed their own happiness for others and society, at the cost of themselves. Though the irony is the cost for them to be happy, is also at a cost of what others feel or what society wants them to be. Which is such a complex dilemma.
As a person there’s only so much you can sacrifice for others until you choose what you truly want over what others want for you. Even if it possibly may hurt someone else, it’s only natural to put your happiness first. Though in the future we may not have this problem.
I absolutely loved this episode. Kim is today's generation strong and courageous woman, entertainment , loyal, loving mother and wife, caring ❤ for family.she is absolutely role model for millions of people.
I dont think her language on her episodes are a good example but then again look how her mother behaves.

I look at it like this.. . Bruce was a champion. He has done everything he decided to do all the way to the Olympic Gold! He has done it with determination and dedication. Couldn't been said better. I also think that the language Kim's using is a little revictimizing by saying Caitlyns dead name, it's hurtful thst this way to address trans people is being read as an example.

If Bruce was 21 today he may have been more comfortable being his true self. He grew up in an era where being a transgender was not acceptable. I’m sure his goal was not to hurt her. I’m sure he loved her.

I don’t think trans people and or gay people would have to marry someone while in the closet, if they were accepted by society. It’s the aspect that in the future no one will have to be in the closet or have these same problems. The only reason why they married someone while being in the closet is because they were pressured by what society wanted or expected them to do. In order to stop that, it’s as simple as accepting them so they don’t have to be in the closet at all and marry people they cannot fall in love with or others who cannot fall in love with their identified gender.

When you look at the household dynamic, BRUCE was actually more of the woman, and Chris was more of the man .
BRUCE raised the kids, took them on carpool, did a lot of stuff with him while she was working .
Looking back, it must have been so difficult for him living with these women in particular, they have so many great clothes. I bet he really had a hard time.

In their series and other interviews they basically state they kept it from her because they thought it was the right thing to do. They didn't fully understand what was happening and I think the idea of potentially breaking up their marriage and hurting her mother without understanding what was happening was too much for them to figure out. They did the right thing tbh

It's good to be true to yourself as well as being truthful for your partners that share both happiness and sad together. Now for the actual businesses, like her fragrance line and her makeup brand. Let's ignore the absolutely fake beauty standards she sets for women and young girls. Let's ignore the hypocrisy and the photoshop. Let's ignore all of that. What's left is a simple and well-worn path that plenty of celebrity business owners established before her. She is not innovating anything.
Entrepreneurs innovate and solve problems. Doesn't have to be big problems but those are the main characteristics. Peddling lipstick to young girls who are deluded into aspiring for standards of beauty that can only be achieved by spending millions of dollars on procedures and a couple of bucks more on a photoshop editor. That's not solving problems.
Peddling her exaggerated personal life so vultures can enjoy drama and derive some kind of vicarious pleasure from it, is not solving problems.
Mainstream celebrities, when they actually try to address problems they get shunned for "virtue signalling" but you would have us appreciate a celebrity whose platform is as overtly fake as the silicon in their bodies.
She's the Rakhi Sawant of the west and you would have us appreciate her body of work, no pun intended. Actually yes pun intended.

I dont hate her, because i dont know her, i was a huge fan when i was younger she was like my y2k queen … but role model ? I mean yeah its cool she saw opportunities and took them all, but there are some really dark aspects in her life. She didnt liked her body and face at all for example, even tho she was a GODDESS in the 2000s. She did all these surgeries and it literally changed her whole physiology, she even said that she was trying to look like the girls her ex boyfriend used to cheating on her with. Its so sad :/ and i feel sorry for her, but it’s unhealthy, she knows it and its not a great example.
