    Really good, "real man's" review. Thanks, brother. Keep reviewing. I'll search your vids to see what ARCA rail system you use.

    excellent points to the lack of springs in the clamp and the low quality clamp screw.

    Noticed at the very end of your video you said how you had to loosen the bolt to adjust the lever for the cant. Have you figured out yet that it’s spring loaded? You just pull and rotate where desired and let it lock back in.. I just purchased this bipod also and absolutely love it! Also switched all my rifles to MDT chassis. LOVE them!

      Yes, I finally figured that out. I can be a little slow.

      I did. I found a round knob at Home Depot. I have since replaced this with an Mlok model

    Nice Bipod Bro. What torque specs did you go with for your barrel, when it shot MOA

    • @sortoftactical
      @sortoftactical  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      40 ft lbs

      @@sortoftactical Ok thanks for the reply Bro. I haven’t shot my Cross yet, but I copied and torqued mine to 50 ft lbs. I also bought one in .308, but I purchased a custom 18” Carbon Fiber barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor (1:7 twist). It’s installed on the gun now, that’s why I asked about your torque specs.

    Why put one in there when you can just take the bipod off and reverse it?

    • @sortoftactical
      @sortoftactical  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would still want the half position to the front.

      @@sortoftactical and flip the bipod back. I think the fact that you may not use it very often wouldn't warrant such a permanent change

      @@InkwellFoto fair point. I have not taken action on it yet. You may just be my voice of reason.

    Did you find a replacement handle?

    • @sortoftactical
      @sortoftactical  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not yet. I found a shop in Houston that has stuff like that. As soon as I get one I will link it or do a quick video. I want to find one with only 2 wings to it.

      @@sortoftactical It looks like the same thread as a GoPro handle. You may want to try that.

      @sortoftactical  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DaveJones1 I will do just that! Thanks for the recommendation

    Seems cheap... Would expect higher grade stuff from MDT, however there are the CKYE ones...

      It doesnt seem that way to me. Materials are good and well thought out...except for the knob. Weight is ok. Modularity with Atlas feet is a plus.
