A VERY NICE VIDEO AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIPS! I admit I've always done it differently with the fat shrinkage, for example, but I'll do better because it makes more sense. Thank you and keep it up! LG
Hello, sorry for the delay in response, Welcome to the channel, got a feeling your like 2 of the next 3 vids, the one less liked is just a review, but felt could be useful to new comers really
Hi I need some advice if possible, I have fitted a brushless motor but I’m having problems as the original motor pinion isn’t in the same position as the brushless motor so the pinion gears won’t touch.
Well always tricky to give advise remotely with out seeing the offending article it self, you can find me on instagram "mintys gt" and send pictures if you want further assistance, Is it safe to say you don't mean the pinion is to far forward or not far enough forward, I.e a meshing issue But 2 things come to mind, you may of not used the correct the meshing positions, or failing that you might of used a different pinion if you have multiple options available, there for have a smaller one fitted thinking you have used the original one still, not as likely to be this option but its something i have done once by mistake to my pureten, and you end up using original meshing holes because that's what you would do, there for creating this issue by accident. Like i said its very hard to help with out seeing it, but i dare say the motor is not in the correct position
RC Overland I wasn’t able to take the pinion gear off the original motor as it was fixed, but on the original motor the shaft doesn’t seem to come out centre of the motor if that makes sense, plus with the brushless motor which ever position I screw it in it won’t make contact with the large pinion of the car, can I send you some pics ? Thanks.
I have the buggy myself and installed a tamiya sport tuned motor. The dog bones seem to rattle pretty bad. Is this normal when running a 540 in this car?

RC Overland sorry just read that again, I will find you on instagram.
Matthew, you need to fit a 19t pinion to the brushless motor in order for the cogs to touch 😎

Depends on what you mean by that, should be any slack. From memory there will be side ways play.
