    Hi. Canada's Wonderland is my home park. I'm love it so much. I know the woodies are rough but I love them. I'm glad you enjoyed your time at our park. Did you have a funnel cake. Yummy. I enjoyed your video. Thank you 😊.

    I think this park had the most underrated coaster collection I’ve experienced. There are some bad coasters, but rides like Minebuster, Bat, and Wonder Mountain are ones I really enjoy that others seem to hate.

    As a kid growing up this park was a big part of my childhood. Now as an adult with a season pass adjusting post Covid find can visit and each day can create a different day that I want to to and never boring. Yes there are some key rides will always want to ride but each ride especially the ones from my childhood make my day with so many memories

    I'm going to be honest, (this is coming from someone who's extremely skinny and 4'11, so this is my experience) time warp and flight deck weren't that bad. The only problem I had with time warp was that I was scared of falling out, so I ended up pushing back so much I bent my knees backwards, tho I could say the same thing for knight mares. Flight deck is also one of my favorites! The rides ended up closing for a bit because of the rain, and I was one of the first people on flight deck so I was terrified especially after I heard what people had to say about it. I'm happy to say I loved it! There was a bit of head banging, but I just kept my head back and it was extremely fun. Now, I have a problem with two rides and it kinda makes sense since they both have the same restraints. Dragon's fyre and the bat. I really like the bat but I had a crap ton of headbanging on it, and don't even get me started on Dragon's fyre. After Dragon's fyre my ears were sore for the rest of the day. But as I said before, it depends on you. My dad had no head banging whatsoever on Dragon's fyre, the bat, and Flight deck, and he actually found them extremely smooth. If it helps, he's 6'3. If you want my say tho, my top 4 are Vortex, Behemoth, Yukon, and Leviathan (in that order).

      I'm from Edmonton and I personally really enjoy Galaxy Land! The big coaster there, the mindbender, was the first real coaster I ever rode on, it was a great first experience (kinda scary though since it malfunctioned and several ppl died riding it in the 80s and my bf decided to remind me of this fact just before my first ride 😅). Also the little haunted house they have there is surprisingly graphic, really well done actually. No actors, just very detailed creepy and macabre rooms. Whats also cool is that its part of our crazy huge mall and is attached to one of the food courts so you don't have to spend a lot on overpriced theme park food, you can hit up mcdonalds or wherever

    Been here so many times and I decided recently to get the fast lane pass for the first time and honestly I will never go without it again. I hit behemoth 3 times in 30 minutes when it usually takes 30 minutes just to get to the front of the line. I was actually able to hit a majority of the rides before 5 pm and I had an absolute blast. It is expensive but if you’re going to be there from open to close I highly recommend the purchase especially if you’re with friends.

    An unfortunate thing about Canada and RMC is that I believe there's a stupid Canadian law that prevents companies other than the manufacturer company to make major modifications to roller-coasters (or something along those lines) meaning to RMC wilde beast they'd have to completely demolish it and just build a new coaster which at that point is probably more hassle than it's worth.

    • @JD-rox
      @JD-rox ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is false. RMC can still design and manufacture the ride, but they would need to hire Canadian workers to build it, unless they can somehow prove that only their own workers from the USA are capable of building it.

    For most American guests I would argue using your credit card is cheaper / easier then exchanging currency. Even if your card charges you a fee (mine does but its ridiculously small) this fee is ALWAYS less than the Niagara region money changers. If you do plan a trip the only way to get Canada dollars cheaper is planning in advance and doing it through the banks.

    My home park. I've been going since the early 1980's (ha, yeah, I'm 43 :p). There are some coasters there that I just won't ride anymore (Time Warp, Flight Deck, Fly), but some that get hate, such as Dragon Fyre, Bat, Minebuster, I still love. Especially Dragon Fyre - I'll always have a soft spot since it was my first major coaster, and the one that I had to become brave enough to ride. Like many say, let's RMC Wilde Beast, tear out Flight Deck and Time Warp, and keep the coasters coming. My favourite flat ride is Sledgehammer, but I really do love them all. Passholder's Preview day in 2 days! I can't wait (if you couldn't tell lol).

    • @nicolasforte4316
      @nicolasforte4316 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm like you, been going since the 80s (39).
      I also have a specific love for dragon fyre. I remember in the late 90s when some of the newer rides were being introduced. If you got there early enough people would totally ignore dragon fyre and you could go on several times in a row. I miss those days.

  • @ThousanWhite
    @ThousanWhite 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    They're killing it when it comes to the flat rides. They're doing fine there.
    Yeah I'd say tear down both Time Warp and Flight Deck and replace it with a large Intamin LSM coaster, similar to Red Force or Soaring with Dragon. I'm sure they can find a way to fit it into the Grand World Expo theme.
    I think the general public still somehow likes Flight Deck and Time Warp enough but those two rides have to be more expensive to operate compared to Wilde Beast, right? I'd say, take care of those two first for 2024 and then they can just retrack Wilde Beast a bit more in the meantime. Then maybe we can get an RMC treatment for Wilde Beast in 2027.

    This is my home park and I really like it, but there are many things we can add. Two things that would help is adding a Intamin LSM blitz in time warps and the amphitheatre spot, then RMC Wilde beast! Those two coasters would make our park top 5! Other than that I loved Thai review

    I think Canada's Wonderland said if they were to work with RMC, they would build from the ground up. I don't think theyre going to reuse the wooden coasters, imo i think thats a good thing cuz Leviathan is technically a prototype for the B&M Giga, and it was met with critical acclaim by the public; so RMC could potentially do something of the same idk. but it would be cool to see them do that!

  • @StamfordBridge
    @StamfordBridge 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I agree with just about everything you said (except did I hear you rate Super Flight above Time Warp?? 😳). My only complaint was that this was the worst park for line jumping I’ve encountered by far - it was everywhere! - but I had a great experience at this park. And yes, it needs at least a day and a half to hit all the credits and get some re-rides.

    Great review. Just one nitpick, Wilde Beast is pronounced "Wild Beast", not "Wildebeest". The "e" is there because it's the theming of the area it's in.

    • @RetroActiveShorts

      It was originally named "Wilde Beast", from 1981 to 1996, when it was renamed to "Wild Beast" in 1997. The ride was reverted to its original name in 2019. It is one of the five roller coasters that debuted with the park in 1981.
