Im 4 years late but I also 100% agree. I think George would approve. And honestly if he was actually playing on George's Kit it would probably sound almost exactly the same

ive always seen metal drummers like this as the "strongmen" of drumming. not that other drummers of other styles do not have strength as well, but this kind of drumming is lots of raw strength and stamina

Now i'm developing super patience to control my hand technique (holding back from play at high tempo but sloppy hit), but currently in 110 bpm for almost 3 month, and not brave enough to go up because my grip is feel like sloppy when i play 1/16 note :/
