Hi. I used to have a yoyo2 with front wheel swivel issue and received a replacement chassis. But I was made aware that there are quite a cases where people suffer from the front wheels continuously tremor and swivel. Is this a new tendency for Yoyo2? Also wonder if you happen to have a piece of advise to remedy it.
Hiya Can you please let me know what dremel make and model you use? I am working on a clients Babyzen Yoyo, where the inner part of one of the rear wheel bearings has rusted on to the rear wheel axle and I need to remove it to refit the new wheel & bearing, that she’s supplied us to fit? X
Hello, I’ve got a babyzen yoyo stroller in black and was wondering if I could get some help maybe ordering a spare part. I’ve been having problems with the stroller way too many times and I’ve only have this pram 2 years. The back brakes have broken three times already! And it makes this awful motor like noise whilst I have my child in there.
Hi! I have an issue with my yoyo and I don't know if it's fixable. When I push hard on the handle with an angle, e.g. when going up a sidewalk, the hinges holding the handles make a cracking sound and then the handle would fold like we had pressed the buttons on the hinges to fold it. This is quite scary because the stroller would fall toward the front. Let us know what you think!
Hi , I have a question and it would be a great help if you can point to me what the problem is. I have a brand new Babyzen yoyo 2 purchased overseas and the stroller is ver smooth but it has a tendency to steer to the left. When pushing it steers a bit to the left I have to counter push to the right so it doesn’t drift. I tried free pushing it without the baby on a completely flat surface and it steers to the left, not dramatically but it angles to the left. What could be the problem ? Thank you very much
Not too much, especially when new. I've had people connect before with me on this, and it turned out to be a manufacturing defect, so I would return it to your distributor foor a replacement chassis. :)
Hi, loved your videos! It’s very informative :) my gently used Yoyo+ bought from 2016 seems to be getting wobbly. When you rest your arm on the stroller, the entire stroller wobbles. Is this normal deterioration? When we push it though, judging from the wheel it stills manoeuvre easily and fairly easy to push around. What could be the issue? Is it time to get a new stroller or do you think this can be fixed? Also the handle foam has torn, now there is a big gap on grip foam, is there any way you can recommend to get it fixed?
as far as the wobbling is concerned, do you mean mostly the back wheels? Or rather a general looseness in the joints? For the handle, there are several 3rd party companies that sell black leather handle covers, usually with zippers. :)
I pushed my yoyo2 with a heavy parcel on top of the canopy and the handlebar / frame seems to move up and down loosely, is it possible I’ve damaged this?
Possible, but it does get a little loose there at the handle locking point eventually anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it unless it is very noticable / unpleasant. :)
It shouldn't really be noticably loose if you bought it new - just the tiniest bit of give at the handle-locking mechanisms. If it's more than this, I would contact your distributor. I had a viewer with this situation previously, and it turned out to be a manufacturing defect.
Hello, there is a small split on the babyzen yoyo wheel, but the wheel hasn’t been used much and the other 3 is pretty much quite new, is there any way I can fix the small split on the wheel? The split is about 1.5 Cm. Thanks in advanced!
Hi, they have epoxies that can be used to fill in cracks in rubber (ask at a bicycle or car shop, if you're interested), but its also pretty cheap just to buy a replacement wheel if it really bothers you :)
This stroller is not a jogging stroller so it isn’t going to react like a jogging stroller would while running. This stroller is more for quick trips to the store or mall or for flying. Anywhere there are smooth surfaces.
Not really. The Yoyo+ was a bigger shift than the move to the Yoyo2. In my opinion, the Yoyo has always been good though, and there's really never been that much to improve. :)
Hello, my Yo-yo is broken at the circular joint (with the logo on it). Would it be possible to send you a picture or a short video showing the break, if you could please let me know if it is beyond repair? Thank you.
Hi, I watched the video. I wouldn't say it's beyond repair, but it will take a little work. The first thing to do is to try to get a spare part, and there are 3 ways to potentially go about this - 1) write Babyzen customer service an email with pictures, say you're handy with tools, and ask if they'll sell you the part. 2) remove the broken part (as well as the same undamaged part from the other side, they may even be identical and not side-specific) and contact a 3d-print shop. Removing these parts may require drilling rivets, and you'll need to disassemble the circular mechanism with the logo, as well as removing the actual part from the bar (you should find a rivet or screw beneath the cap with the logo or maybe just under the logo sticker). 3) search used markets like Craig's List / Ebay for cheap yoyo chassis that may be damaged in some other respect (this is not a common break, but there are other common breaks, most notably rear wheel problems). Once you've secured a spare part, replacement shouldn't be too overly hard and feel free to contact us if you get stuck. Best of luck :)
I would remove the textiles and reattach them, you might not have all the velcro straps attached properly :) check our video here: for textile removal - th-cam.com/video/xKrypJ-vtY0/w-d-xo.html for mounting the seat and textiles: th-cam.com/video/K8uXXqvf6YI/w-d-xo.html
U're using the old model, I can see it from the smaller shopping basket. Are some problems resolved with the newest one? I got a yoyo in May 2017. I have traveled in Europe by plane. Also it has traveled to Australia, Singapore, Indonesia... So far no problem with the pram.
@@marvaldez9071 You're both right, sort of. That's definitely not a Yoyo+, but the Yoyo wasn't supposed to have the holes in the back for the board.... (this is maybe some sort of newer version of the original Yoyo model?)
The logo on the arm should be raised plastic, painted white. I hate to say it, but unless its some really early model that I'm unaware of, you might have purchased a fake.
The Stroller Workshop Thanks for your reply, I was worried about that too but I’ve found out it’s quite common after a while for one to come off. I say sticker, but it was described to me as a raised sticker with the logo painted on. I’ve got the serial number and checked all the details to make sure I don’t have a fake. 😅 There is a company here in the UK who will replace them but only if you have proof of purchase and mine is second hand. Thank you. :-)
The same thing happened with mine and I bought mine new through a reputable retailer. I’m pretty sure you are talking about the circular Babyzen logo. I contacted Babyzen through email. They just asked that I send pictures of the stroller and once I did they sent me a replacement logo. You should definitely try contacting Babyzen.
Abi and the boys you’re welcome. I love this stroller, the missing logo although cosmetic irked me every time I used it. I am so happy Babyzen replaced it. I hope they respond back to you this time around. They’re customer service was excellent. They replied back to me next business day.
I just bought a yoyo2 and I am not able to move the part where the canopy wires are supposed to be put in (on the chassis). Right now it is "pointing" up, so the hole for the wires to go in is pointing down. I am not able to turn it around though. Have you any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong, or do you think there can be a problem with the chassis? Thx in advance 🙂

I have this problem too! I think older babies are too heavy for the stroller
It’s normal. The back rest is not a fixed back. It is more like an umbrella stroller. But the stroller is still safe.
My wife keeps nagging me to “fix” this stroller because our baby leans forward
