- My name is Danielle and I am so excited to have you here!
Welcome to our High Desert Homestead where we inspire the dreamers to make big plans in small spaces! We have lived in four different U.S. States over the past eight years. In that time I learned to cook from scratch, bake with sourdough, and grow gardens wherever we lived. I grew blueberry bushes at a rental where I couldn’t “garden,” I grew tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, beets, radishes and flowers on our apartment balcony, I grew herb gardens in sunny window sills, and began my journey towards growing our homestead on our one acre property here in the high desert.
Let’s learn and grow together wherever we are on our homestead journey!

Looking better every time you post. When the pasture grass comes up, the green will add to the beauty of your little homestead. The chicken coop and run look great and can't wait to see it full of birds and egg production starting.
We are excited!
Danielle you constantly amaze me! The projects you take on, the involvement of the kids is inspiring. And Nate too! You are both becoming such fabulous DIY'ers. I am looking forward to our next visit and seeing everything in whatever stage of development at that time!
Thank you so much!
Great job on the coop! You guys could install batton to cover the seem of the wire fence as is on the door.
You both do such a beautiful job on your projects. I have no doubt that your pasture grass will be a success. I am really enjoying the process of your homestead. Have never known anyone or followed someone on IG or youtube that has started one from scratch. Hope you are taking some relax time and taking care of yourself before the baby comes.
That means a lot, thank you! My husband reminds me to sit and slow down😂 it's not in my nature haha
Great job ❤️🔥🧖
Thank you!
