- Back in a M140i after 6 months and it had to be no other than a stage 2 460BHP Wrench Studio Tuned!

im about 5 days away from selling my beloved EWG n55 m135i and buying a 2018 m140i stage 2+ be a continuation of smiles per mile, can’t fucking wait
The thing I don’t get with these big power M lites is why no one upgrades to and LSD first and does brakes. The brakes fade so quickly and if you actually want to use all the power, you need to do them as well as all the power.
Love my M140i.
This has even more power, so I bet it is amazing.
Not a fan of all the blacked bits, too chavvy, and the exhaust sound is stupid, but as for the rest, yes, lovely.
Personally, I'd have spent money on the diff, suspension, tyres and bracing, and then looked at power (while keeping it looking stock). But each to their own :-)
As you say each to their own. Yes the power was stupidly insane but was very insecure
@@DownShiftThrottle 10 months later, and mine has been great. Just remapped to 411bhp. it's enough to make a difference over stock, quick enough to have fun and compete with much more expensive machinary, yet I think very reliable and I'm not expecting any issues with engine or transmission at this power.
not everyone is boring ass 50 year old that wants to keep their car looking OEM. Yawn.

Yup....its great as a little bit of fun but not for everyday driving....

They are the replica 666M wheels that usually come on the M3/M4 Competition.
Really not a fan of this pops and bangs craze. It just sounds so artificial and over the top. It’s just fuel that isn’t being burned in the combustion chamber. How is that a good thing?
I'm all up for a subtle exhaust note but I do agree this was very asbo. My M4 in comparison sounds very quiet.
Nice review... I'm thinking to get a sports on my 240, I've had the backbox and a res delete so im a bit worried it'll sound similar to this on the overun. hmmm
If you're getting it mapped then the overrun can be dialled back a little which can get it just right

Pops and bangs were cute at first, but now its just overdone on every car. This beast would be better without them imo.

Sorry I got my comments mixed up. The front and sides are attached using self tapper screws. Same as my M140i make

Personally I'd go for non OEM looking ones like Bola wheels. If only this had the LSD, MPS4S tyres and not a overly cracking exhaust.....this would then be really awesome. Just a bit more work needed!
