mr nu i was watching Joel Turner style on youtube , he has a modern riser and right hand thump release with a left hand bow riser and a modified grip for a right hand , i was wondering if i can make a bow like that by buying left hand riser and right hand grip that fits it , because i broke my only bow today , and im sold on Joel Turner idea , i would be surprised if you didnt watch his videos or if you never wanted to test that idea .
I attended Joel's workshop and watched him do this. While his method is excellent, he's more or less the only person who prefers the blend of advantages. Specifically, he likes the sight picture with the arrow on the other side, as it allows a wider field of vision. This is not the reason why traditional thumb shooters use this side. I've shot LH bows with the thumb draw to demonstrate that it can be done, but I personally don't see a benefit.

Ive never seen a target like that. And tbh this whole style intrigued me. Wish we had more different styles where im from, most classes teach Olympic style. Maybe im wrong and some do traditional teaching and teach instinctive. I honestly think with instinctive youre dominate eye is doing 90% of the actual aim, i could be wrong. But ive always been told instinctive is not great the further away the target is.
