  • The two basic shapes I use in my line artwork. There are many other patterns to be used out there, I am just showing the ones I use as a foundation for most my illustrations.

    Literally the Bob Ross of line art. Nice job describing how you think and work with your shapes brother!

      Thank you so much! I think it would be fun to continue to create more videos where I create and draw, a lot of people like the relaxing voice while they zone out thing.

      Lol! I've been told that I give a little too long of intros. I'm going to work on that. Thank you for putting that timestamp in the comments for others to find.

      @@isaacpriorart Your fine dude! If someone could do this for me in real time they would lol. I talk super slow when I'm explaining something. And I pause when I talk especially when it's about something important or I'm thinking carefully about what I'm saying. People on the phone are always saying... hello? Like I hung up lol. At least you were talking during the entire intro! 🤣

    I was first attracted to your thumbnail. Then I clicked to find
    1. A Tuxedo Kitty
    2. A very handsome face. I'll stay for your lesson and subscribe if you can help me. I'm not great at drawing specific things. I'm in love with Zen Tangles. For me it's the same reason I'm a percussionist. Yes I play guitar and piano but... there are rules and your mistakes are easily found and can be pointed out. Playing any percussion instrument is freeing. There are no rules. Nobody knows if you effed up as long as you keep your beat... it's all good. Drawing "things" has rules and is VERY OBVIOUS when you mess up. I can copy things but that takes hours of erasing. ZenTangles have no rules. It's freedom. Yes there are shapes that have names but for this most part, I'm very happy with my completed Tangles!😊 So there. Now you know a Lil bit about me. It's my turn to sit back and be taught about the 2 basic shapes. 🤗

      LOL! Im glad that my channel can be more than just cats and a handsome face! And thank you very much for both complements!
      I love that you related drawing to music! Its all creativity and whatever speaks to you the most is the medium to pursue. Having no rules is exactly why I like Abstract Line Art. I like to give myself structures to follow while creating each piece and every drawing is a little different for what regulations I use. I'm glad you have found some inspiration in my content!

      @@isaacpriorart I was one of those kids that NEVER stayed in the lines when I colored. I still don't and that's why I love the whole Zen Tangle formula for calm and quiet. I've never stood up to draw. I actually tried using my kitchen window sill because it was the only flat surface high enough to stand and draw. Boy dogs that make a difference! But... it got uncomfortable after about 20 minute because of how I had to lean. I'm not giving up on the idea to buy an hight-adjustable desk. Spendy Lil boogers but I'm manifesting one for free. Somebody somewhere wants to get rid of theirs and I WILL FIND THEM! Ciao Oh Handsome One!

    Good video i am always happy when i stumble upon some new art video’s from which i can learn. I was wondering what is the name of the girl that you follow that makes the arch shape art. I just started practicing this shape.

      I'm happy you stumbled upon me as well! She has been experimenting with other shapes more recently, but Ill link a few artists that I know that regularly use the arch shape. The first link is the woman that I mentioned. Her work is very clean and smooth.

    OooohhWeeee!! I just looked at the pens you're now using. $28!!!😳 Oh my! Looks like I'll stick to my "Two Hand" micro-pens at $9. One day maybe.

    • @isaacpriorart
      @isaacpriorart  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You have sparked an idea for another video! I am a big believer in, whatever tool you prefer, mindset. I have experimented with lots of different brands and types of pens and what I use now is what I like, and may not be what others prefer or like. That is totally fine and realistic. I dont want to judge anyone for their material or tool usage, its very personal. Like what kind of cloths we wear, or cars we drive, its for reasons that pertain to you and your lifestyle. I have never heard of TwoHands before and Ill check them out. Im always down to try a new pen. I recently bought a $70 pen from Tom's Studio (link below) to see if it was worth the money. While it is a VERY high quality pen and ink, I hardly ever use it because I dont want to waste it.
