After listening to this again (Having a bit of a Serious Sam resurgence lately), I forgot how good the music starts getting around the end of Chi-Fang & beyond. Speaking from December 2022 now, it saddens me how much apathy this game had directed towards it as this game had some genuine love & care put into it. Everything from the music, characters, levels, the sheer content, you can tell the developers enjoyed working on this game only for the reception to be mediocre at best. While I still enjoy modern Sam, I wish the series would experiment with shifting in this direction again.
