For layering pieces for the cold i really like uniqlo thermal wear.
They have short sleeve Shirts and long ones with different neck options (normal and wider ) for perfect layering.
I always thought you would only need these if you life in a really cold climate (which i am not) but if you wear a thermal shirt underneath i can still wear cute blousy dresses in the Fall or winter without having to wear a thick cardigan over it. Also they have really thin but warming puffer jackets intended to wear under coats which is so practical and money saving if you invested i an more better Coat which you now can wear even into Winter.
Free people has a jacket just like the pullover but it is a jacket vs a pullover and they have prints and solids!! So cute I love mine

Normally I tend to gravitate toward woman older than me as far as friends are concerned (my mother was 72 when she passed in 09) so I grew up with an older generation- anyways I digress she’s fabulous and I love this channel- obsessed 🤩

Brooke! SOLELY out of curiosity as someone who also lives in NYC, do you take the subway and/or bus?
i do take the subway! however, for my safety preference, i like to take it with friends/in a group. it's perfectly safe to take it alone, but with having a car now that is my main method of transportation. i also like to uber/lyft when i am running late which is often because my time management skills are questionable
