    I’ve been listening to my Q45s for the last 8hrs. and I am blown away so far. Now I am going to sell my XM5s to cut my losses. I just liked and subbed your channel. Kudos..!

      How the anc compare to Xm5?

    • @fiddlix
      @fiddlix 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@TN7. I would give the Q45s have about 85-90% ANC the XM5s have. More than enough for my use case. They clearly are not XM5s but as far as sound quality they easily compare with the XM5s with using using the eq in app. And the ANC @ 85% of the XM5s I am totally fine with. I prefer the button control over the capacitive touch button combo combination on the XM5s. The app is great and the call quality is fine. Transparency mode is brilliant for my environment. What’s not to like..?

      That's so awesome! I didn't expect them to compete that closely with the XM5. Couldn't agree more though, the Q45 are outstanding!

      @@TN7. meh, just purchsed the soundcore Q45, XM 4s have slight better NC, would say QC 45 is about 80-90 percent of the xm4s nc. the headphones are great, except they're pretty uncfomrtable at the top . if you have a big head, I would recommend sony all day. it might be a good time to pick one up for 120 with the coupon code, if it was the regular 150, I would rather go with the sony xm4s certified used with warranty on ebay for 170 bucks.

      @@mitch20003 thanks bro .
      i don’t have big head. I want them for studying so this is why the anc performance is important to me. So you’re recommending this headphone?

    I was going to buy these but it seems you can't replace the ear pads when they get worn out unlike the previous version

    • @raystrazdas
      @raystrazdas  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good choice to get these! Yeah it doesn't seem like the ear pads are replaceable on these.

      I am sure some determined DIYer will figure out a way to replace the earpads on the Q45 in the few months or even weeks.

    The Space Q45 headphones and they are excellent! ANC right up there with the best- and 50 hour battery life. I also have the Space A40's earbuds and they are also great! Great ANC! Excellent battery life- close to 8.5 hours with ANC on. I recommend both of these highly!

    Question how you think they do against sweat or rain. Can they handle a workout at the gym

    • @raystrazdas
      @raystrazdas  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think they will hold up just fine for working out!

      Fellow gym rat here..if you have a big head would stay away, sony's are way more comfortable at the top where the headband is.

    I just got one. There is no comparison to sony. This is completely out of class. For 120$ ANC is decent, but sound could be better if you want to make a name for itself

      I got a pair of xm4s and I wouldn't say these are below soundwise (which is insane considering the xm4s are double the price lmao) I do actually like the standard eq a lot more on the q45s, Sony headphones do really need an adjust on the equalizer to start shining, almost everything else is better on the xm4s, more comfy, better case and build, better ANC but not better app, or price, or ambient mode, or battery. However, I don't think a better build and a better anc and stuff like that are worth paying double the price when the q45s deliver enough quality on those sections as well, and for a $300 pair it's just funny losing in some others like the ambient mode or the battery vs a $110-150 pair.
