We stan a Queen to gives a straightforward answer in the beginning, but keeps us watching for an insightful take.

I’m surprised this video doesn’t have more views and more likes because this is such an insightful review. You’ve touched on things I haven’t heard other reviewers talk about. Great video, thank you

Good review...I think using the app will solve a lot of your q45 issues. I just bought a pair. I used the presets and customized the eq till I got my preferred sound. They sound great to me. Got a refurbished pair for $77. Excellent for the price.

Without using the app you cant get the neccessery Firmware update that must have solved these sound problems. Cus none of these problems exist on mine.
The best sound is to do a hearID and then mix it with the Flat preset in the Advanced hearid settings.

hey! i bought q45 headphones. listening impressions as positive as possible. however, i am annoyed by the notorious interruption of listening while listening to a playlist on spotify. it happens on average every few songs. suddenly, it interrupts the playing song (bluetooth connection is maintained) and stops playing. I do not know whether to claim it or maybe I have some bad settings. I'll add that I'm using a Galaxy A55 and the headphone soft is updated. Does anyone know what this is due to? I would be grateful for help.

For anyone else out there who has a small head and find the q30s sliding down uncomfortably because of the weight, do you have any solutions?

Great review! How are your Q30's holding up? I've ordered a pair myself while they're on sale, but am slightly worried about long term durability.

sorry but i neet to mention that my Q30s short-circuited only after using them for a year and that pissed me off. i was a careful user but it happend idk how and now they are useless cause they are even unfixable...

i know you said you don't like playing around with apps, but you should've tried installing fx sound equalize; it works wonders on 'flat' headphones...

I feel she is finding every reason to hate the Q45's.

Missing: a program one can download to their PC. Why should one have to use the smartphone app to get full benefit of the Q45? PC/Apple users second class?

The permanent room noise sounds like transparency mode engaged or broken , I have two pair of Q45 without your experience.
The Q45 are more accurate than the 30‘s so to some they won’t sound as colourful or coloured , the Q45‘s have better bass and less treble but you can tune them or try the pre tuned options in the App.
I got a headband zipped silky smooth coverfor a transatlantic flight and boy are they comfortable now.
Thanks for the interesting review 💪

I absolutely agree with the earcup design flaw. The joints are way too tight. I bought 2. The first one started making these metal clanking sounds by itself after 10 days. Mind you, all I did was bob my head around and put it in the case, and it got worse. The second one, I decided to stress test the earcup joints (very lightly!). I heard a clank, and now the sound is back. Now, whenever I go up the stairs or tilt my head up, I feel like a robot.
I bought these because I'm very noise sensitive, so this is unbearable :(

I had the same impressions. I have q30 and bought a q45. Surprisingly the mic of the q45 is a pain, much worse than the q30. Terrible. Do you really think the mic is similar in your experience? Maybe I got a bad q45 and should ask for warranty.

good review, i think the same: q30 are much less cheaper and for the different there is no reason to buy the q45. ANC is the same quality and not being a sound expert i can suppose that the sound between the two is the same.
transparency mode is better on the q30. you can are clearly voice when talking, with q45 you cannot
q30 are more comfortable because are shorter: with no elongation the q45 are long for my head and i can't modify them.
the ear cup are too large too

For me, the Q45 an upgrade from inexpensive wireless headphones purchased two years ago.
I've been doing more air traveling and wanted to try a headphone with good noise cancelation and ANC. I got then for $100USD at Amz.
Thank you for an average user review!

You’ve probably activated transparency mode accidentally when you tried the app or pressed it while tinkering around? That would explain the “room noise”. It’s either a low hiss or ambient noise that doesn’t go away until you turn the transparency off. This is the case for most ANC headphones. Also, not using the app limits your experience. There’s an 8-band EQ and presets and many other features that are usually unavailable for headphones at their price point. Also, I don’t think the Q30 supports LDAC. But you’re honest enough to say you’re not an audiophile, so it’s understandable. But to the trained ear, these sound great. Soundcore headphones are pretty well-tuned, maybe not out of the box, but you can tune them to your liking. Good, honest, transparent review. Thank you!

Very subjective review. The Q 45’s are definitely NOT for you. The App is a must for any Soundcore product. That’s how you make a decent set of headphones, a great set of headphones.
