Just binge watched everything.. truly fantastic.. enjoy your home away from home boys.. you guys deserve this.
Now you should binge drink some milk, lie on your bed, and roll continuously in circles, pretending you are one of those logs being rolled into position
Watched your whole cabin adventure with my 12 yr old son. He’s a boy that lives in a time when being a man and putting feet to a man’s dreams isn’t too often encouraged in society. I appreciate what you’ve done here. He got a machete, rope, and a fire starter for Christmas and now has plans for a fort in our woods. That ambition is being fueled in part by your videos. Much appreciated gents.
Thank you for your comment. That is awesome to hear
As his 12 year old son, I can confirm that I wildly swing my machete at piles of wood in the backyard; it may seem unsafe but I know what I'm doing. However I have recently grown tired of the manual labor involved so I decided to switch to trading options, and more recently buying and selling oil futures so I can live in a sweet mansion, smoke weed and play video games when I grow into a fine strapping young lad
As his other 12 year old son. I have decided to take up burning large sums of money for the sheer heat of it. I have also installed twitter and TikTok and spend all of my time endlessly scrolling. I love corporate America.
Ahhh yes more cabin footage, just what the doc ordered
The doctor actually ordered that you eat some more hot dogs, in particular the jumbo hot dogs they sell on the streets of New York
I imagine your neighbor walking up during the scene with all of you shirtless lifting logs and punching each other and backing away into the woods like that homer simpson meme haha
One more comment and I just saw you guys folding the American Flag. It was very touching for me. The last time I saw that take place was at my Husbands funeral in Tennessee 10 years ago. Thank you for bringing that moment back again. The four of you are a rare breed. Most young people are too busy playing on their laptops or other useless gadgets. Congratulations to all of you for what you’ve accomplished.
These are men, you are referring to boys.
And I could not agree more. God bless you and these fine young men.
The comment wasn't intended to be rude. They are young guys. I would have called them "boys" and not meant anything by it.
May all your memories be grand and your tears happy! I’m impressed with these young men and can only hope I’m raising my son to have the drive and initiative that they have!
Mam, thank you for your Husbands service. If you were handed a Flag then it would have been for a purpose. I agree that young people these days need some help.
As a young person, I can confirm I am usually too busy playing on my laptop and perusing my phone for some hot sexy videos.
neighbor was really a goat here. beer, a canoe, and chainsaw oil, he really helped out
Don’t ever lose what you guys have . Brotherhood like this is hard to find . The years go by so fast . Got out in 1991 and only see two of my brothers every year. But when we get back together it’s like we have never been apart. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
What a bunch of good friends I have enjoyed this series so much. I’m 73 and living through your eyes. Me and two friends built a tiny cabin in the bush near me and use it often. Take care and I look forward to more videos
When guys mentioned returning and taking a shower... We used to plumb a plastic hose into a 5 gallon bucket with a sprinkler type end to it. Heat some water and put it on the out house. Or with your guys creativity just make a shower house.
What a great opportunity for you guys though. It's awesome you have such great friends to do this with.
Please keep going back guys, I really enjoyed these videos!
I was a Ringwraith extra in Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring. Weathertop scene.
Great to watch an outstanding cabin build. Awesome job guys especially all the extra things built.
you had to be the best character in the movie
Serious respect for you men... LOVE seeing how you handle OUR FLAG.. This is something few people actually experience.. I'm sure you all wish you could just drive up whenever is convenient in a vehicle, and have insta-supplies available to you.. The inconvenience however shows a lot about one's character.. It is going to be extra special further into the future! Thanks for taking us along with you, even if it is just virtually..
the gear you wear, hiking 4 miles just to watch a river, the gym you made, pullups, that type of humor, that flag folding... all i see here is a bunch of veterans that are living the life they talked about during deployments, those late night talks about life after the military. i'm getting all these things by this video and let's be honest, every one has friends but only in that world you can find some crazy ass dudes that are willing to take a plane and build a log cabin in Alaska, maybe i'm wrong, if i am, you are a lucky man. Good job guys, Rest easy Cabin!
A suggestion for the goal of the next visit to the cabin. Prepare it for a visit during winter the following time :) Really enjoyed these, thanks for sharing it with us all!
I second this
I third this
Winter is a different beast in different parts of Alaska
The winter?
Winter camping videos are literally my favorite this would be sick at the cabin
Respect for the flag was outstanding.
Amen! It is so good to see some young men showing respect for our flag.
You guys should get a lil garden going for the next trip up there. All you need to pack in as ziploc of seeds, and you could have fresh lettuce in as little as three weeks!
8:15 "What a great man"... had me rolling on the floor
Thank you for your service gentlemen, from a Vietnam veteran.
Cody is my bro. The gun guy, the introspective guy. One observation is that I think Cody and Josh have a bond with the land and the work of their hands than Sean and Dash. Ain’t disrespecting either of them, but that kind of longing to return to the Real World but. It really wanting to is a thing I’ve experienced in my own life. I am 110% in on y’all’s adventures and while my “Alaskan Cabin” is still some years away as I slave to the man, my time will come. I’ve got a Brother or 2 in mind that I think would experience something like this with me, but I also know I’m capable of doing my own thing although without the amenities you guys have. Well done across the board Navy brothers. Well done. (Still the best YT videos I’ve watched.)
We NEED more content from you boys. Thank you for your service as well.
Nice shout to Cowboy Kent! Love that. My dad was a WWII Submariner. He would Love this like I do and be right there with you, saying let’s go Boys we’ve got work to do!
Thank you gentlemen. Enjoyed your adventure, your new Journey Into the Wilderness. The camaraderie of friends will last a lifetime. God bless you all
The kindness between them is awesome. My man’s filming himself actually doing something and turns the camera away from that to watch his buddies doing nothing but being buddies. It was very sweet
What an adventure! Thoroughly enjoyed watching all 3 videos - from the getgo. 30 lbs lost (each) from the 1st outing; no surprise. Glad you brought more food and more hands. Really found the narration/story telling compelling. Thank you for posting and looking forward to more adventures!
My son's fave movie was The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring lol. I still can recite the opening credits by heart. Cate Blanchett's voice is so majestic. Good job on the cabin. I would LOVE to live in Alaska.
Absolutely a pleasure watching all of these
I know im just a guy in northern Canada you dont know but i really felt apart of this journey. Like i was one of the guys out in the woods right there with you. To simply put it thank you for the emotional amazing adventure
Great videos of your adventures. I love how you are always kidding around and laughing!
Been lovely watching you down to earth friends!
Hey I don't know if you'll see this or not but you can run just about any oil for bar oil. Love the series.
Love the door design with the wooden hinges
Enjoying these videos! Special memories and great job
Watching this series feels like watching history. So many people came to the United States and did exactly what you did. Building cabins out in the woods on the outskirts of civilization. Why? To be free. To not answer to anyone except the primal forces of nature.
Keep doing exactly what you’re doing!
the lack of caloric deficit in the last two videos was quite refreshing. nice work and thanks for having us all along for the adventure.
I want to do this when im older and i love how you guys were in the military because that is my future plans is to join the military and when im done with the military i want to go build a cabin in alaska to live the rest of my life without society just be in my own peaceful world with just a dog or 2 to keep me company. Love the videos just watched them all at once very entertaining and enjoyable thank you for filming this hope you guys keep filming your journey with the cabin
14:30 awesome painting of the cabin. Id love to see more
I really enjoyed these videos. I moved to Northern Wisconsin. Still off grid. I had a trail camera that captured most of the build. Still laugh when I think of all my silly mistakes. Had an old dish washer as my ice box (with extra foam and spray foam insulation) as my only refer until I upgraded to a propane refer freezer in 2019. I started with a 12x16 cabin with a loft. It wasn't much, but it was mine. I just love it up here. I don't think I'll ever leave. I bet you all really miss being at your cabin! I hope you get back real soon.
So Impressive Boys. Wonderful work. Loved to see the folding of the flag and love that you boys fly it while you are there. I would love to see more of the interior. Also maybe digging a well and building an outdoor kitchen? Love everything you guys do keep the vids coming. God Bless and Godspeed
Greetings watched the whole adventure, outstanding!! hope you all a bright future, keep that friendship!! I cant believe Cody is the image of my cuz Ron Pretty Flute, Nam vet (173rd/ The Herd). Thanks for the enjoyment of watching the build! Ohan Mitakuyaoyasin (we are all related)
Man what a accomplishment please please keep in touch with each other I’m 47 now and had buddies like that in my early 20s and time family and life grew us apart we still talk time to time but not the same.
Friendship, brotherhood, wilderness, and purpose. Nothing more fun than that!
This is timeless. Pioneer determination, camaraderie, fearlessness, working together, tolerance, effort, ingenuity, and FREEDOM.
One of the coolest videos I have seen in some time. You fellas are Patriots, Gentleman and Bushman all in one.
Getting ready to do this, with no road to the property... But there's a road to the lake, so I can get stuff in by boat. Thanks for helping affirm my decision to haul materials in, rather than try to harvest them from the land.😂
Seriously though, having grown up in Alaska and this will not be my first cabin, I am impressed with what you guys were able to accomplish. I started watching the first video with just two of you, and I was shaking my head at some of the holes in your planning. But you powered through it, and managed to accomplish quite a lot in the time that you had. The second season was pretty awesome and you guys obviously had a much better time doing it. Hard core.
I heard that Spenard Builder's Supply can do helicopter deliveries to remote locations, but I don't know too many details about the costs or anything. Have you looked into that?
@@busimagen There's a guy who offers a barge service for large loads. A friend of mine who has helped build a cabin out there thinks I should buy a snowmachine and a cargo sled, and haul materials in the winter. I hate snowmachines, but that is a popular and effective option too. With the advantage of hauling directly to the site. By boat every piece still needs to be carried from the shore to the site.
Most enjoyable!! Thank you for having a great time doing hard things; so few folks even try anything now days.
Hats off and bottoms up!
All the necessities: a gym, a bar, and an outhouse! You guys worked hard and should be proud of your accomplishments. I enjoyed your adventure.
First off I want to say, Thank you for your service to our great country. So as you were talking about your time here at the end. I heard three of you say a hot shower, nothing beats a home shower but maybe that is something to put on the list of needs for the next trip to the cabin, just a 5 gallon bucket filled with hot water hanging above with a hose and shower head. You guys are living your dreams, a lot of us can only dream our dreams. Good luck and stay safe and healthy.
Hello from sunny South Africa 😊 loved your cabin building adventure, so sad its now come to an end😢 I think you need to build an equipment shed, or man-cave or .... I dont know, just build something else, anything, we need more videos 😂 luv watching you guys ❤
Man, I am already looking forward to the next one!
Nice to see the stars and stipes flying high. o7
Hi from England, I love this series. Your dynamic is great, and your videos are hilarious. You're living my dream!
As someone mentioned, it would be great for 3rd season for use to go there and take on winter. Arrive just before winter to pre for it and do a winter stay if possible. Good work guys, well done
No s***, there we were: knee deep in the elephant grass, gun overhead when we spontaneously broke out in “Fortunate Son”.
Never too young for a Nam memory.
Loved it. Cheers, Mark
Bravo gentlemen !!! Look forward to watching season 3 !
You need an airboat to get thru the swamp to the river. Great video, guys! Love the build.
You are kings walking amoung men!
Unfortunately for you good sir, you spelled "among" wrong. Shame, shame indeed
Well done. Just caught this for the 1st time. I’m 71 and did a lot of stuff in my life. Now my buddies are disappearing for good to that next life. Keep this place. I fear you will need it in the near future. Never give up.
I cried when you four gentlemen leaving the cabin that you guys build. It's so sad. I hope you guys make more longer videos. God bless you people
Wow..I stumbled on your video and can't take my eyes off. I love your friendship. Positivity and respect for each other. I wished they're more young people like uou in this tome and age. Congratulations for your accomplishment. Please keep your videos coming. I can't wait to watch your next video.
Please post a lot more videos! We Military Veterans need more Veterans on TH-cam! We love this country!
Keep the brotherhood alive , thank you for the support
Awesome adventure! The real-life drama hit the spot. I hope you guys do it again!
Definitely thanks for sharing your adventure!
Rick From Virginia
I've looked forward to this for weeks and now I'm so sorry it's over😢I'm apparently a selfish person because I was wishing that you guys lived there full time with content for the viewers back home a couple times every week. So we'll all be here waiting for your next adventure. No pressure
For weeks? Wow. I'm really surprised people care this deeply about a random video of people building a log cabin. That's really quite fascinating
Wow, what an incredible adventure with the boys. This was such a fun season to watch and we all cant wait for next year! Loved the ending interviews and seeing you all back at the hotel at the end. I can only imagine what an awesome experience this was.
You are a great group of friends don’t ever let anyone or anything change that!!
Waited and now it’s here sorry I’m 37 mins late
Just love it all guys. Thanks for the Toby tunes too.
im not gonna skip ads for you sirs! salute!
I can't wait until the next time you go there again. It's a life project, a bond that is priceless and irreplaceable. I wish you all the best and stay together. Many greetings from Poland. Tomasz
Pretty nice content you guys created and I cannot believe we will have to wait a year for next videos of the cabin!!
It’s inspiring to watch people pursue their passion with good friends and build incredible things and moments!! I’m happy to watch it and like I said, will be waiting for next season! Cheers boys.
I watched the Prenneke video over 20 years ago and while I know I wouldn’t do it, seeing it done, provides a tonic for the part of me that loves the wilderness. Watching you guys do it as a team I believe is even better!!
You can be very proud of your accomplishment!! What’s next, a hunting trip?!
You guys make wonderful videos. And log cabins too. Made me smile all the time I was watching it.😊
Absolutely beautiful cabin, living out my dreams right now
Just... thank you!
You guys are awesome. Stay strong, stay adventurous.
Ready for next season
Yep
I've been stationed in Alaska almost 7 years and leave in a couple months...these videos make me wish I had the ambition to do something like this! Love your attidues and really hope your keep the videos coming. The production and editing is amazing and full of talent!
Such good filmmaking. Emotional, fun, raw. Great choice to go with episodes too, imo. Was hooked from the first video.
Friends for life.
Not because of networking.
Or what you can use one another for.
Or financial gain.
Just because of friendship.
Chapeau, gents. 👌
Your neighbor is awesome!!! I love that guy!
As a veteran I wish I could've done something similar to this when I got out. I can really relate to the brotherhood you have, thanks for sharing this it was a pleasure to watch.
Enjoy the future guys, life flies by !!!
This is some of the most compelling content I've seen
Wow absolutely fantastic, it reminds me of my younger days out with my brothers, this helps my PTSD, anxiety, panic disorders so much, thank you young men 🙏
Good on yall for doing it.
Oh my God I hope the 4 of you know how absolutely beautiful this is! Your comments are filled with people saying it but you all actually made me tear up! Amazing story telling with the editing and the 4 of you all bring so much personality to the adventure and viewers! I can't wait for more! Also, unbelievable what you all could accomplish you a month!
This is so incredible. Definetly i will subscribe. I love how you guys are matching your characters together.
I did this alone back in the seventies in Lac Blu Sea Quebec Canada. To this day that cabin is still standing, its just not used anymore as I age. Stay young fellas, all good things come to an end.
You've just reminded me how lonely I've become after my buddies left.
Thank you for the series.
This channel is a gem
Great camaraderie, you guys are great friends, excellent adventure - you will never forget this.
Hi from Australia 🇦🇺
I’ve just binged your cabin videos and will now have to rewatch with my 12 year old son, he’ll get so much inspiration from this!
Congratulations on your hard work and dedication, it was a wonder to behold and I’m excited that you have this beautiful space now, waiting for more adventures, for the rest of your lives.
Thank you for documenting it all, it’s been a real pleasure to watch, and your friendships is heartwarming to behold.
May 2024 be a fantastic year for the four of you!
Also, love, love, loved the singing!
Boy, I for sure get the depression when I have to leave my remote cabin. It’s no joke, civilization is just stressful. Fun video guys.
Easy access in winter. Spend one and get out of the Cheechako Clan.
A gift of beer is a true gift of friendship
I prefer water myself, especially if its straight from the tap. Mmm delicious tap water
Been a min waiting for this
Well done guys, just binged them, I think you’ve done what a lot of us dream of doing but never have the guts too.
No this ain’t the end of a dream, it just the start because you have to build a village now 😂, all in all awesome videos, favorite channel along with outdoorboys
You guys have the coolest neighbor🤘
To me, it's sad to see you guys leaving it all behind, returning to this Other world of ours...
The ALIENness feeling of needing to get back....home.
The lifelong dream is just begun, half your heart will always be there now.
That front door is handsome af. Luv it, the hinges are over the top 👊👍👏. And oh yeah that neighbor of yours is top notch !
