All you needed for the stove pipe is a piece of string. Start from first hole and wrap string around and mark. But you got it done and that's what matters. One more thing that helps. Urinating on your trees around the cabin will help keep predators away. Won't stop but will detour.

Your float is stuck. The rebuild kit should take care of it. Clean the needle that’s connected to the float out real good and you’ll be good. New plugs and a couple sets of spares too.

Learning how to field fix your machine will be a long term asset, and you’ll know what tools are important to bring along. Not that I know snowmobile carbs, but either the needle and seat were not operating right or the float (if it has one) was misadjusted or stuck.

Carb will need to be tuned to altitude but little tip if you fouled your plugs use a torch to get the spark plugs red hot it will clean the carbon and trick the engine to think it's been running you need to lean it out and that's done with the air/fule mixture screw or some call piolet screw if it's on the airbox side it's +/- air and if it's on the engine side it's +/- fule to lean out you want more air less fule 😅😅 hope it helps

I am a mother of 4 son and I am enjoying this video one is a veteran and I would have loved for him to work out his PTSD just like this one of my other sons went to college and became a construction engineer and he does build homes but the part that got me now that they are grown and gone was the musical fruit and joint laughter that I no longer hear. When my son came home from Afghanistan he told me that he had built a shelter of sorts his comrade ask him how he learned to do that he said that it was his mother that had taught him how to do it😂 I have never been so proud of that little 10 acres that I owned at the time they were young

Good on you for getting out camping with your dad , do as many trips as you can while he’s able to , one thing I regret not doing with my dad was more adventures but now he’s gone rip. Looking forward to the next trip in to the cabin, winter travels seem much easier at least when your sled is playing ball haha
