    Nice to have a 5" frost depth! Ours is 2'. I haven't looked, but I wonder if someone makes a super long middle buster that could get me that deep. I wish I had a few bucks for every time I've said, "There's never a hydrant where you need one."

    WISH IT WERE THAT EASY IN NORTH, our frost line is 40 inches below surface.
