Have an Arona as a works vehicle, it looks nice and drives well. It is a 21 plate with 21000 miles on the clock. It has developed random electrical issues where warning light pop on unexpectedly, such as tyre pressure warning, park assist warning among others and often tells me to switch off because the engine is not charging the battery. All of these go away once restarted. Also, the navigation is awful, can't just leave on the map - it reverts to a useless radar looking page with destination map coordinates so you have to swipe the screen to get the map up. But even swiping mostly doesn't work. Apart from that, it's quite nice.
School run, shopping trolley, probably good enough for two adults and two ankle snappers going away for a week in Cornwall. Nothing wrong with that of course. We need cars like this. Personally? An estate car does it for me (with roof rails, yum!) but times change and there we are. So why don't I like it? I'm 57, I think that's why. Forget you, thirty somethings. I hope to be around when your kids rebel and drive estate cars... with roof rails...and those luggage box things! Oh, the future burn!🔥
No, you perhaps should not buy a Seat Arona in 2024, at least not before you try a Skoda Kamiq. The Kamiq has a 120mm longer wheelbase, resulting in a nicer ride, more space in the rear for passengers legs and feet. It also results in a longer load bay once the rear seats are folded down. The Skoda also has a nicer, more mature interior, with (I think) a nicer finish, and a more practical touches like the umbrella in the driver's door, the little clip on the driver's windscreen pillar for parking tickets etc, and other nice little touches like the sliding storage trays under the front seats. My 1.0 litre SE-L (110bhp) has more than enough torque to hold it's own on the motorway, and is a quiet cruiser in 6th gear...
I have Seat arona 2020 know. Its very bad car . I get gearbox problem i dont drive too much mil 30000km. I get A/c problem. I get disk and brake pads. Seat arona doest have good quality. If you buy för you get DSG problem thats gearbox. Big problem
Rebecca lost it when she deserted the elysian fields of Cargurus for this rubbish channel. The 2024 model is somewhat different to the 5 year old example seen here. I assume Motorpoint's customers are paying through inflated prices to cover the production costs of these videos.
The Seat Arona is a happy compromise of space and driveability. The Ford puma may look better and handle slightly better but the cramped rear leg room and inadequate boot space make it impractical as an SUV
You cant beat us in France with puretech from peugeot that is quality garbage😂 I ordered the Fabia with new TSI evo2 and remapped DSG7 lets see how it goes haha
Got the Arona fr sport in sapphire blue with a dsg box. Great car

Be interesting to see if it would sell across the pond in the states....the 1.5L turbo would be the least powerful version.🧐🤔
Just got one of these as a hire car and seems great to drive but as I’m use to my 1L Hyundai i10 it seems huge!
What I'm getting from this video is "it's not a puma" Unironically very helpful

I like this car and hate estate cars, I'm also older than you [ we all like different things]

And an important thing, the Kamiq has a 2024 design, the seat still looks like a 2016 car, horrible exterior look

Probably aimed the video at the "used" car buyer market, not everyone buys new
Seat Arona is very bad car. I have one Seat arona its bad car no quality
OK 👍🎉❤😊
I have Seat arona know and i get gearbox problem efter 3 year. I get A/c problem. I get disk and Brake problem. Tel true the people 😂
Dsg or manual gearbox?
The juke is indeed whacky.
I would pick the Seat Arona over the Ford Puma and the Nisan Juke as they are [to my eyes] ugly cars
Agree. The Arona is one of the very few nice crossovers, in my opinion.

Garbage cars, and the Cupra is the same garbage but more expensive. Walk away.
